Which ever coach and kids my youngest likes will be the final decision. Oh, and we are leaving one of the above.

Whatever. They beat them 2-0 in group play, then had a fluke loss 0-1 in the finals. It happens. Bethesda Girls ECNL remains a strong organization with a proven coaching model that continues to get better and better. The 2008 team is no exception.

A couple things here. It was decided to play EDP because at the time the decision was made, out of state travel to PA and NJ was not allowed and restricted. This would have only left the 08s with two games. Same thing goes for State Cup. Registration was due before anyone had any idea travel restrictions would be lifted.

Secondly, the ECNL schedule is currently not accurate.

Third, yes, we lost in the Championship. Call it what you want, you did not see the game. It was completely one sided except FC Frederick managed a break away and and finished. Our shots did not get in the goal. Happens to every single team. Sometimes it doesn't go your way. FC Frederick is not a bad team either going 21-0-3 for the 20-21 season and tops of the CCL. They didn't lose or tie to BRYC or Loudoun...(Mclean) and they also didn't lose or tie to VYS or SYC (Arlington)...They also didn't lost to Celtic Union, get blown out by MD United or tie Baltimore Armour (FCV).

Moral of the story is, don't throw stones in a glass house and don't criticize if you don't know the facts. I'll be the first one on here to admit if we get our doors blown off by a weak opponent. The TRUTH is we only have one loss by more than goal since the beginning of the season which was to Pipeline. The only team better than them in the DMV is VDA.

WTF why are people spend quite the time on 12yos. The U13s will paint a different picture when they become U17s. I can’t understand all the lengthy analysis and narratives and speculation at this age from parents.

There are not many VSA girls on this squad. The VDA 08 team would be better if there were more but a couple turned them down last year.
