With Love, Meghan on Netflix

Here are some questions that the Meghan haters here haven't answered/refuse to answer. Any answers welcome!

-- Sophie Chandauka spent £600k, which is half of Sentabale's annual income, without asking or telling her board. Some say she gave the money to her brother and another firm she invested in, others say she gave it to consultants she personally knew. What's going on here?

--What's with Baroness Crowder telling the Times that Sophie was extremely difficult to work for, so that Crowder left last fall before everybody else?

--Why did the entire Sentebale board ask Chandauka to resign?

--Why did Chandauka respond to orders to resign by threatening a massive lawsuit that would have bankrupted the charity she helmed? (And for the record, the board has been clear that they resigned en masse rather than let her bankrupt Sentebale with this lawsuit).

-- Why was Chandauka outraged that Netflix and Serena Williams showed up at a polo match, bringing priceless publicity to her charity? Every other charity head would have loved this. Serena probably donated too. Why is there a clip on twitter of Sophie praising Netflix at the same match?

--Why on earth would Sophie want to abandon thousands of children and young adults with AIDS, who depend on Sentebale, to enter the crowded climate change charity field? Did she want a more senior royal patron? Did she want William to absorb the charity into Earthshot?

- What is the role of William’s longtime ally and TUSK director Iain Rawlinson, who has been by Sophie’s side all week?

-- What's going on with Twitter creaming Chandauka’s resume on X,pointing out discrepancies and also that every firm she’s been involved with failed and one owes £2m in back taxes but is massively in debt and can’t pay?

-- Why is Sophie spending Sentebale's money in London, trashing Meghan and Harry, instead of, you know, going back to Lesotho to run her charity?

All righty! Can we stop with the playground insults and have a real conversation now?

All righty…. Where are the links that back up anything at all you say?

She got it all from the same tabloids that "don't count" when it portrays H&M in a negative light. And of course it's all been briefed by H&M, the very same couple who decry the use of tabloids for such shenanigans. At least Sophie is going on the record, unlike those two cowards.

But you think those tabloids do count….or only for H&M negativity?

You’re as big a hypocrite as you’re claiming PP is.

If this is what you believe: Why do you think Sophie C is slandering Harry? What purpose does this serve her? She is saying she experienced push back due to racism and misogyny during her time there. If you are anti-racism, why do you only push anti-racism for Meghan, not for Sophie?

No one cares about this Sentebale crap.

Demanding that the woman defend Meghan is newsworthy (tabloid standards of course) because she has been previously accused of bullying in the UK and the US.

If what Sophie says is even true. She has a history of making stuff up--check the ongoing Twitter about misrepresentation on her CV.

I don't disagree that it might not be true, but the charity is saying they have documentation of the message from him demanding she explain why she won't defend Meghan.

Likely translation, if true: Meghan using Harry’s phone. She isolated Harry from his family and clearly controls his every move. And it’s just been embarrassing disaster after embarrassing disaster. These are not serious people, they are 40-something coddled children who’ve never had a real job in their lives. And it shows.

?? Or he's extremely defensive of Meghan and their sussex brand himself. Harry is not some innocent little baby whose being controlled. He had issues with his family before he ever met Meghan. Read spare and his previous interviews. That man is happy he found someone who was willing to take on his family with him.

The infantilization of Harry needs to stop.

“Take on his family with him”? He trashed them and then expressed surprise that they cut him off. They don’t care about him anymore.

I agree though that he shouldn’t be infantilized. The best way to understand him is to recognize that he’s dumb, it’s not Meghan’s fault that he was easy to fool and give up so much for her. If he were so happy in his new life he wouldn’t be obsessed with getting security in the UK so he can spend extended time there (I’m sure his family don’t want him there and it’s a relief for them that he lost in court).

Yep, he's barely functional mentally and has mood issues, which Diana recognized from an early age. Meghan took advantage of his stupidity and neediness. Now they are stuck together as two people who are widely disliked and they probably have a ton of contempt for one another. But they are stuck together because their brands are so damaged by their spoiled antics. They really are idiots for not getting that the public has limited patience with complaints from rich people.

If only PP had that same energy with Meghan’s fake ass resume from age 18 to Suits. Was it…New Yorker or Vanity Fair (?) who couldn’t verify any of the bullshit she fed them?

This is what I read:

Dr. Chandauka also alleged that Harry's insistence on bringing a Netflix camera crew to a planned charity polo event in Miami ultimately led to its cancellation.

According to Chandauka, about a month before the event, Harry contacted the Sentebale team, expressing his desire to include footage from the event in his Netflix series.

"Prince Harry called the team and said, 'I'm doing a Netflix show, and I would love to bring a camera crew so that I can include some footage in this show," she recalled.

However, she argued that the decision was made without consulting key stakeholders.

"And so the team called me and told me, 'Oh, Prince Harry's made this request, so we're doing the thing. I said, you can't be doing the things without seeking consent from the property owners, the sponsors, all the guests. Nobody signed up to being on a Netflix show," Dr. Chandauka recalled.

She noted that negotiations with the venue quickly fell apart once the owners reclassified the event as a commercial endeavor.

"We come up with draft agreements and of course, the venue owner says this is now a commercial undertaking," she continued. "So here are my terms. We couldn't afford it. So now we lost the venue."

This story actually makes sense. So few of the stories where poor maligned Meghan and Harry are “admirable” make a single stitch of sense.

Once again, she is not hated for making pasta. People dislike her for her behavior related to the royal family, including: 1) complaining that no one asked her how bad she feels while standing in a country full of impoverished people 2) demanding to move to Canada and then the U.S. but keep calling herself Duchess of Sussex 3) going on Oprah to do an interview alleging the royals are racist and terrible -but still calling herself Duchess and her children Prince and Princess. The peanut butter pretzels and rainbow fruits as examples of culinary prowess are simplistic and stupid but not nearly as hypocritical and spoiled as the other actions.

DP. Sophie has provided zero proof and there’s good reason to believe she’s jumping on the hate wagon, joining you, to deflect from her own doings. A trustee has come out to say how abrasive and imperious Sophie is. Today the Times is running a piece on how Sophie spent £400k, which is 1/3 of the charity’s annual revenue and ridiculous overhead, for a charity, on consultants with nothing to show for it except maybe the £12k web designer. Sophie also demanded a £300k salary for her volunteer position. She’s facing horrible allegations and the optics over these racism claims aren’t good. .

DP. Liar. The mocking of her pasta has been nonstop. Also, everything you cite seems truly minor compared to things that, say, Phillip has said and done. The hatred, including your own, seems unhinged to this outsider.

As If! Crepes are very easy to make and only have a few ingredients, you can make them more easily from scratch than a mix.

I mean doing making them from scratch it won’t be “an extension of how Meghan loves” which she claims her collection of foods are on her website. But it may bring joy to those I hold close as she also states. And that is true, my kids love crepes on a weekend or snow day! I am not however, trying to monetize that experience, so maybe Meghan has a point and the As ever collection IS really how she loves.

That said, I am on the evil hate wagon a PP was talking about. I think it looks like a Conestoga Wagon from Oregon Trail except with Wi-Fi.
