👀👀👀😂😂😂😔😔😔

You know what it is

Schools get 34 transfers happening in April? You make this make sense.

FCPS and Reid - you have sunk so low.

The ends justify the means for so many of you and it is down right sad.

A third team Overton screwed over in just one season.

To be fair, he has screwed over 9 of the 10 opponents he faced this season, as well as his own program and Freedom's. But hey, he has to live vicariously through kids...

Um I don’t think so

played HS won states himself
Played minor league won multiple titles
Played some Pro football
Opened up a successful youth program for football
Has a kid playing college football
Has family that played multiple years of Pro football
Put multiple kids in college athletics

I would think it’s safe to say football is what he does and knows. Can’t get that far bar cheating

"Can’t get that far bar cheating"

Coach Overton, have someone proofread your posts before hitting submit you pathetic cheater.

I wonder if you would be man enough to say that to his face, or would you like to continue to hide behind the keyboard. Your probably one of those that ish but have 911 on speed dial

Are you threatening violence? If you are, you are a degenerate loser and everything I'd expect of a cheater. I didn't post the above and I am not a man but I wouldn't tolerate your bs for two seconds.

Wow, reading this is simply disheartening at best. Claims on both sides, counties and organizations and now judicial systems involved. Well someone is perceived right and someone is perceived wrong the courts will decide, but the games will be played in the field. The Lakers won a championship in the “bubble” the then Redskins won during a strike shortened season, if and big if Hayfield wins a championship it can be as asterisk if it needs to be but the banner would still remain the conversation would still remain but so would the title.
I see a lot of people have ordained Hayfield as favorites to win, but that’s why they play the game, so best way to silence them is SOMEONE beat them, then it all goes away.
We line up 11 on 11 and it’ll sort it self out after 48 min and the clock reads 0:00

I predict more VHSL football programs will hire chaplains to join the coaching staff. Why should Hayfield and Liberty Christian have that spiritual advantage, but no other VHSL teams.

Other wildly successful public school programs also have Christian chaplains who provide emotional and spiritual support. This is becoming a trend among successful prep and college programs, especially since Coach Prime has come out in support of team chaplains.

Creepy Karen the pedophile. Is that you?

You know it and this has no place in a public school. This is very inappropriate.

Definitely not. This whole saga is otherworldly however. Or at least some mysterious force is at work here. —> It’s like a Korean drama. The plot changes from week to week.

But seriously, only Hayfield and Liberty Christian are the only VHSL teams that tap into this spiritual angle that can give teams an advantage. The WSJ and LATimes have written about this (among numerous other papers/news media outlets).

You are crazy and this is concerning. Your religious views should have nothing to do with public school sports. This is offensive.

I personally know people who have said that to his face multiple times at multiple schools. It’s not his face that’s the problem. It’s his ego. I love how you immediately go to violence. Typical Hayfield cheater post.

That’s the difference, im not him, and respect will not be negotiated.

Omg you're funny. Yea, our lack of respect for this clown won't be negotiated.

Parents have been parents and some have/can be obnoxious, especially when cheering for their son or daughter. Most have congratulated all schools when they have had very successful championship programs/teams. That has been the community we live in.

NO ONE has ever done what Hayfield did this year for football in any sport, ever, at an FCPS public school. To encourage the transfer from one county to another of 24 student athletes to participate in one sport in the same school year is disgusting. To have moved the Director of Student Services to another school when that person began to see what was going on is evidence enough. There is SO much shady business that has gone on and been reported about, it’s no longer funny.

Whatever the temperature of the community is currently, it is the direct result of the actions of those 24 families/players and the coach, DSA and principal at Hayfield High School. They have earned all the criticism with this issue and should man up and look at themselves before defaming others with BS race comments meant to deflect from the real issue that they all where involved in this cheating scandal. They will never admit to it and will continue to deflect away from their lack of moral character.

There will be an * next this team for many years to come and they have earned it. Good luck in the playoffs to all.

Those kids were leaving Freedom regardless. They weren’t staying. They followed the rules of the VHSL and FCPS by moving into the Hayfield zone.

You know what you don't understand fool? This is not professional sports. This is high school football where fairness and sportsmanship apply.

None of you Freefield parents care one whit about either.

My family is not religious. I think these chaplains or life coaches (while they tend to be evangelical christian) help students navigate their spiritual and or life journey as it pertains to sports and academics. That’s all I know. This chaplaincy has been used to give some teams a certain competitive edge. This is definitely more anodyne than the pregame Christian prayers led by coaches before games at numerous public high schools around the country; the courts have all ruled in favor of the pregame prayers when challenged.

The degenerate loser is the one who complains with false allegations to every white supremacist willing to listen, until they find some who will attempt to take down a successful football team that has a Black coach and majority of Black players because they are dominating in Northern Virginia.

That was alleged and not proven.

Can you explain the van taking kids back to Woodbridge?

It’s just a rumor. Similar to the one about your mom on 14th street after dark.

1. The rumor has been substantiated multiple times meaning...it isn't a rumor.
2. I love how the comically unintelligent Overton apologists think grade school humor actually passes for wit or insults. The lack of self-awareness they demonstrate every time they post truly is startling.

Bad analogy I guess, didn’t realize your mom was really out there.
