Madison and Oakton are less than a mile apart. |
Oakton is quite a "bit more of an overall team". They are 15-1. C'Ville is 3-6 in it's last 9 games against 6A publics, with Westfield and Herndon among the wins, for goodness sakes. Two of those losses were against Oakton. The third loss will be Monday. |
ummm...No. |
Do we think West Potomac can beat Robinson on Monday? |
Heck if I know. Lol! Lately I think anyone in that Concorde division could get an upset on any given night. We’ll all know by 9 to 9:30 on Monday night. 🙂 |
umm...no |
Cville can absolutely beat oakton. Just faceguard #11 from oakton like Madison did, and oakton is cooked.
Madison did it the right way and their defender was basically in #11 face the whole time not caring about where the ball is. If you want to get real crazy, you also faceguard oakton #4 the other dominant middie. If you do that correctly oaktons offense will choke. All other coaches should take note of this. Cville says high |
Do you mean "hi"? |
Does Centreville have the personnel to do this? Do you face guard the 3rd middie #21? Let’s see what the coaches have cooked up. Can’t #22 be faceguarded all game also? Easier said than done or other well coached teams would do the same to both teams. I can only assume coaches are going to prepare for this. Will certainly be interesting 🧐 |
maybe smoking that good stuff! |
No, "High" as in that funky stuff they grow in those fields up at the top of the hill at Oakton... |

Didn’t realize that every middle is D1 top 10 talent. |
As a coach sometimes I wonder what the other coach is thinking beating a team 27-5. Forge took a beat stick out on Forest Park. When’s enough enough. What comes around goes around better be ready for your next game. |
The question is also if they have their starters in, especially on attack up that much. If so, karma may come back to get them one day… |
