SATC New Season - And Just Like That...

Exactly. They introduced then glossed over the drinking problem. Brady going backpacking for the summer was such lazy writing as a way to make it OK for her to go to LA. Should have explored more how she basically walked away from her family and how that would make a normal mother feel guilty.

Still I kept tuning in to see what they would come up with next in terms of fashion. Did all of Big's ashes fit in that little Eifel tower purse?

Miranda was soooo annoying for all ten episodes. Made it really hard for me to buy the relationship with Che. Not so much her giddy, stupid fawning, but that Che would be so interested in her.

Literally mocking and acting offended that Carrie might hope there’s an afterlife where she can see her dead husband, acting like that’s an affront to Miranda somehow. Skipping Carrie’s Paris trip to go watch someone who isn’t even her partner go film a tv pilot—after Che didn’t even clue them in privately that that’s what they were doing. Turning down an internship her professor/friend went out on a limb to get her. And that’s just in this episode!

Yes, the way Miranda reacted during the picnic table scene was cruel and selfish. I wanted Charlotte to interject and tell her to shut up. Miranda is acting like such a fool and everything she did this season was hard to watch.

She looks a million times better without the silver hair. I like silver but it was not working with her skin tone at all.

I think her worst moment (and there are many contenders) was calling from the cab after telling Steve she wanted out and gushing, "I'm in a Rom Com!" Just ugh.

Yes, just like the actual show!

Ugh I would have been so mad and upset in her shoes. Imagine this person you're in a relationship - or something! - with just drops this huge news on you in public like this. This is how the relationship is going to be though isn't it. Miranda was always the one in charge - and now she's really not.

Agreed on all points. Also, Miranda is doing this to Carrie & Charlotte. She didn't tell them she was moving to LA.

I really didn't like the Big's ashes story. Are we really to think that Big didn't detail how he wanted to be buried in his will? Was this all so Carrie could wear the ridiculous dress in Paris --though I will admit she wore it very well?

Finally- the texts with Samantha were really unfair to viewers if they are not going to bring Kim Cattrall. I would have loved to hear Samantha's perspective on Miranda's behavior.

I don't think KC gives a hoot, hence SJP getting so riled up in the press. How DARE Kim not be at her beck and call; SJP played Carrie, after all, and if the rumors that the cast's real life was slipped into the script are true, Kim owes her career to SJP and saw her as a cash cow! /s

Exactly! It wasn't a documentary, it was like an end of year recap video on Instagram. Blegh.

Omg. I loved the silver hair! It looked elegant and classy. But I also like the red as well.

The show made it hard to warm to they.

Them. Lol.

Che is such a flamin' narcissist!

So sick of the cliches in this show. They made the effort to be inclusive, now let’s make an effort to be fresh. The seductive friend shacks up in a hotel with her paramour for three days eating caviar? Yawn. Charlotte freaks out over some big event that she’s put sooooo much effort into? Gag. Carrie throws herself at her metrosexual boss? OK. Say what you want about Lena Dunham and Girls, but at least that was unpredictable and new.

Rock is so selfish and annoying. I hope she gets an ass whooping.

It’s great to come out as a trans. But if you don’t agree with having a they mitzvah, you should’ve just said that before the entire party was happening. Nobody called them out for that. But, as the parent of a difficult non-binary child—my kid would totally have pulled that crap too.

I wonder how much that they mitzvah costs?
Anonymous
The idea of a they mitzvah is stupid.
