SATC New Season - And Just Like That...

NP. Are all of you hate watching it? I watched AJLT season 1 and decided not to bother coming back for season 2.

Che being at last supper made no sense. Carrie has lived in NYC for over 30 years and she is only inviting x number of people and Che is one, who literally broke up Miranda's marriage. Would never, ever happen.

Nya is relatable but so outside the circle it just isn't flowing.

Cannot stand that they are acting like Stanford is still alive but having Anthony as a core friend. Wtf. The anal was SO UNCOMFORTABLE. Also, a young hot guy today wouldn't have been into this because he can live his life openly now and not rely on old men thank the lord.

The scene was Samantha was so awful. Hoping Kim Cattrall got $1 mil plus for putting up with that.

I just finished the last season a week ago and at the risk of inciting rage on here I think the show has more or less found its footing.

I agree with everyone on Che. Wokescold is the perfect description of her. Total fun vacuum. She's a mess and Miranda can and should do better.

I don't see Seema as desperate. I would actually like to see a lot more of that character, including how her cultural background influences her mindset and relationships.

I feel like this season made Carrie a little more of an ensemble than the main attraction, and I think that's good. I don't know how I feel about the ending with her and Aidan. Asking her to wait 5 years is ridiculous but typical for Aidan.

Agree that we need less Anthony. And Sanford's send off was sort of weird.

I like Nya and LTW and they've both been given something to do. Love LTW and her husband.

I think Carrie should run into Berger—maybe he’s still miserable, or maybe he’s wildly successful and happy?

I think Charlotte should run into Trey—perhaps their families run into each other on vacation on Nantucket? Maybe they both have girls at sailing camp on the Cape and they become good friends?

I think Miranda should realize she’s always been in love with Carrie—and she secretly sees herself as the Alpha over the mess that Carrie has always been…but realizes that Carrie has actually grown as a person over the decades while Miranda has regressed.

I couldn’t make it through episode 2 of season 1. It was so awful that I couldn’t hate watch. I LOVED the original.

Are they going to show them go to assisted living facilities this season?

I'd love a series centered on LTW/George Washington and Charlotte/Harry. Love those two couples.

I hated the storyline they gave Miranda, making her so weak and in love with a shitty self-centered person. Carrie has not grown one bit, still selfish and shallow as ever, pretending to be 30 with the coquettish attitude. I liked Seema and Nya a lot. Charlotte I think was very believable and good, though there wasn't much to her story because she is so normal.

These are good ideas minus the last. Would destroy Miranda's character even more and make her more pathetic and desperate. Why can't she just be a sarcastic lesbian?

I don't think his name is George Washington which shows how under developed this story line is. How many more times is LTW going trudge through crappy weather in couture? Nya and Seema have been nurtured much more than LTW and Charlotte

There's a series on Prime right now starring Ron Livingston called Loudermilk. I call it Berger All Grown Up. He's a writer and a recovering alcoholic. I think they should have Livingston come on AJLT as this character.

To the rest of your post, that's going to be a no from me.

I watched Loudermilk when it initially aired and I thought it was a very fun and touching series. I love a show with an ensemble cast and this series fit the bill: a strong and interesting lead character surrounded by a talented and quirky ensemble.

I think Berger all grown up would still be in NYC. He might have finally enjoyed commercial success and settled down with someone (perhaps accidentally getting his GF pregnant). He would still be anxious and searching for something more and whining about it. But he would have moments of being a fun, charming guy...the person he was decades ago and wishes he could still be.

ICYMI: IRL, Charlotte's rich kids would absolutely go to sailing camp on the Cape. It's a thing...I know people IRL who did that. It would make sense for her kids to run into Trey's kids there...because sailing camp is a thing for those people.
