I have often wondered if there's something in the training for school administrators that pressures them to be untruthful with subordinates, parents and students. I loose faith in leadership when a person flat out tells me a lie. I can respect a difference in opinion but I cannot respect anyone who is dishonest.

Or moved to Central office for the rest of her career because no educator wants to be in the atmosphere they created. It's bad for morale and their own well being.

I just did a search on names from people I know in the following situations:

A. Teachers from my school who I know are transferring to another school in MCPS—— still in staff directory under last year’s school
B. Teachers from my school who I know are leaving MCPS and moving to another county —— still in staff directory under last year’s school
C. Teachers from my school who retired after the school year ended —— gone from staff directory

I’m assuming that means Crouse is gone from MCPS in any capacity although they could be finding her a new position within the county and it’s in limbo. But even then she’d probably still be listed under the central office position to which she was transferred.

She might have resigned. Otherwise they likely would be demoting her to AP somewhere for the coming year. Perhaps she negotiated that resignation.

3 of the best Principals I have known in 18 years in MCPS have been Black. 1 was a male. They have been in extremely diverse schools, some with special programs, and all of them were exceptional. At least two of them were targeted by MCPS Central Office and very corrupt administrators who were their bosses. All three of them were replaced with useless White male principals.

Why don't you just accept that central office knows how to educate children and manage teachers? There's a reason admin is a promotion.
