^^^ Now wondering if Holton Mom could also be drink soda and cuss on your b'day mom. Just a thought.

Anonymous wrote:The My Husband Has ADHD Poster. I don't doubt he does but she attributes every single thing about his seemingly horrid personality to ADHD. She haunts the Relationship forum ready to tell every woman whose husband has ever forgotten his keys/yelled when angry/looked at his phone/lost an erection/watched a ball game/taken a breath that it's a result of his ADHD.

YES.

Anonymous wrote:Holton Mom from the Private Schools Forum. Her daughter was rejected by NCS, so she has an anti-NCS vendetta that can only be satisfied by telling everyone that Holton ended up being a fabulous school with great STEM curriculum, amazing crew team opportunities, and that eventually her DD went to Princeton. She shoehorned this story into virtually every thread for a while -- e.g., please recommend an all-girls school; which school has strong STEM classes, anybody have a DD who does crew, etc., etc. She hasn't been around in a while, but she was amazingly on-message.

Didn’t the daughter get a job in NYC? She also totally outed the daughter since there was only one Holton girl on the Princeton crew team at the time she was posting daily about her.

Anonymous wrote:I appreciate the Family Relationships poster who uses the phrase "mealy-mouthed ninny" and/or tells people to "nut up" and set boundaries. She's something of a steamroller, but that forum really does need more backbone.

OMG, she uses the same phrases on the Private Schools Thread. I had never heard the term before when I read it the first time. It cracks me up every time I read her posts!

Anonymous wrote: The crazy UNC hater poster, who hijacks any thread on any forum re UNC, usually posts several times in early morning hours with “UNC cheats” or “UNC is going to lose its accreditation” or “UNC graduates illiterates”, etc. total nut job. Made it impossible to have any thread on college forum re the school. Thankfully Jeff stared deleting the posts, never got back story on who poster is, but every now and then they pop back up.

Who may or may not also be the UMD booster. Although UMD booster directs most of his disdain at UVA.

No, it's definitely UMD booster. You can tell because of the atrocious grammar and distinct writing style. Somehow, at UMD, he never learned that you don't need spaces before the punctuation .

I am just breathing a huge sigh of relief that I am not a "non-famous but frequent DCUM poster". Although from reading the pages of this thread it is very clear that I am not reading a very broad section of the site and maybe I should expand my world a little...

Him plus the guy who hates Georgetown and who brings it up all the time. We get it. You don't like Georgetown. Deal with it. I don't even have any connection to Georgetown but I am so tired of the constant harping about it.

Some of the posters mentioned on this thread (the Executive poster & the doesn't drink alcohol & hates water poster, for instance),while not true DCUM legends like Bobcat Girl, Chipotle Lady, Pinecone Mom, etc, are nonethe less well known due to their contribtions on a single thread.

I think OP intended for this thread to be more about posters like the Mom of 5, the rabid Kate Middleton hater, & the mom who lets her DD drink soda & curse once a year on her birthday who are not well known due to one thread but are instead well known because they have posted the same things often enough on different threads to make themselves recognizable to even semi-regular readers of the forums they frequent.

Anonymous wrote:Not that frequent but she (or they) shows up on most threads about Hardy Middle School. The poster who is obsessed with the fact that Hardy kids wear uniforms and that makes it look like an urban school and what IB family would want to send their kids there because of that? And another poster who is sure that a specific teacher is still militantly organizing against IB kids enrolling at Hardy because the teacher was quoted as saying some rebellious things back when Chancellor Rhee removed the principal - *years* ago.

YES! I swear this poster gets a Google alert whenever anyone asks about Hardy. I just take a drink every time she appears and mentions “the militant” teacher who, by the way, no longer teaches at Hardy.

Best thread ever!

Health: The Lyme lady. Someone else already has mentioned the perimenopause lady.

Special Needs: The two posters who battle over autism spectrum disorder vs. receptive-expressive language disorder.

Ah, yes, the Lyme lady. Any malady from allergies to pneumonia, Lyme disease should be considered.

The Lyme lady has a friend named PANDAS lady.

Anonymous wrote:What about the crazy person who mentions airplane noise every time someone asks about living in Palisades or Georgetown? She posts numerous times on each thread to say that the noise is deafening and if you say you don't notice it she says that there's something wrong with you.

Yes!!! Just coming on here to say this. Palisades, Glover Park, Georgetown? Airplane noise lady will shoot you down.

Another poster, if you mention Glover Park, will bring up the strip club on Wisconsin, as if it has anything to do with daily life in GP. She'll contend that the "creepy" men who go there park on the side streets of our hood.

Not inked she has two daughters far apart in age. The drink soda & cuss on your birthday mom's DD is too young for Princeton (a tween or maybe a very young teen, iirc).

The poster who can't understand why Prince Harry would marry an old, probably infertile hag like Meghan Markle (especially when Taylor Swift is still available!).

OP here. You’re right, that was my intention, but I love how this thread has expanded. There is some great stuff here!
