I don't think she needs any jump from ED. If I were Malia, I'd apply RD everywhere and buy myself a few more months to make a decision. Of course, her friends are probably applying ED.

Somewhere, I hope, where they know not to say or write ".... Will enroll at."

Based on the New York Times article, it seems she and her friends are seriously thinking about Harvard.

I read that she spent the weekend at Brown. If all this speculation were a stock, I would put a 'buy' on Brown.

Because she toured it with a friend? Heck, she toured Columbia a full year ago with Michele. I don't think we can read a whole lot into how a teenager schedules her tours.

But this is her second visit to Brown. I think it's definitely a contender.

Maybe. But don't you think she'll choose the name and prestige of Harvard in the end?

Maybe, but if your the first daughter you can go where you want without worrying about prestige. Harvard is not the best undergrad school of the Ivies.

why would you even go to college then? If she wants to do film, I would imagine 4 years of working full time as a production assistant in hollywood would far surpass anything she could get out of college.

Probably true, but her parents will want her to go to college.
