ICE Shooting in Minneapolis

Thank god for cameras so these craven cowards aren’t going to get away with their brave hero vs. rampaging killer be. Well, I guess they probably will get away with it legally but most sane people aren’t buying it.

or maybe he should have only shot her in the leg?

I'm not sure how he would have hit her leg from that angle, and she still may have hit him as that would likely have caused her to go faster, but running away would have been a much more efficient way for him to avoid being hit than shooting her.

This is not the first time ICE has opened fire on citizens in the country. They open fire for improper lane change. That happened in DC. In Maryland ICE kill another two citizens claiming the car as a weapon.

This is their standard operating procedure. Don’t believe these maga misinformation operations.

I will never believe that this woman intended to touch any officer. She was clearly in a panic and trying to flee.

I very much hope that the idiot who jumped to the conclusion that this person tried to hurt officers finds themselves in the same situation.

So she uses her car to block ice agents, and now we’re supposed to feel bad for her because she panicked and actually hit someone? Because even though she was impeding the agents we must believe she never wanted to hurt anyone?

DO YOU HEAR YOURSELF?!?

+1

They murdered a lady in the street. That’s the long and a short of what happened.

You Monday morning quarterbacks are HILARIOUS. How many life threatening situations have you been in? Have you ever actually held or fired a gun?

No. No, I have not. But I am not a trained LEO. So there's the difference.

Prosecution is coming for that police officer (that is, ice agent…)

They need to take this murderer into custody before they can whisk him away.

Yet you feel the need to critique their every move.

Can’t say I’m surprised.

I’ve been in substantially more danger than this coward while on shift in an ER. Many times.

I have only seen one video of the incident.

The woman driver was clearly in the wrong multiple times; once when she intentionally blocked traffic to block ICE vehicles, then when she backed up in an attempt to escape an ICE officer who was holding the inside of her car door to get her out of the car as ordered; then she quickly & carelessly shifted the SUV from reverse to forward and nearly hit an ICE officer crossing in front of her car.

US Supreme Court considers the "totality of the circumstances".

Based on the video that I saw seven times, there is no way that the officer can be charged. It was self defense of himself as well as of others (can use deadly force if threatened with great bodily harm to self or to others).

The victim started this by using her SUV to block ICE agents driving their vehicles. Then she failed to obey an order to move & then refused to get out of the SUV as ordered by another ICS officer whose arm was inside her door attempting to open it to arrest the woman.

Best to obey the instructions / orders of law enforcement officers. Stupid beyond belief to use one's vehicle as a weapon against federal officers.

No, I am not. What I am saying is that he could have easily jumped out the way vs. shooting her at all. The officer is clearly untrained and chose the exact wrong action in the situation.

I bet the ICE agent was in a panic too considering she drove her vehicle directly towards him!

Except he was off to the side with a weapon drawn. She was ZERO threat to him or his fellow agents.

She hit him even with his quick reaction to move out of the way! She was absolutely a threat to him!

Agree. The new video makes this obvious.

No, it doesn't. That agent leaned in. And frankly, showed no ill effects, didn't bend down to rub the "hit" area or anything.

He did not lean in. He was standing there and got hit.
In a situation like that, that is unfolding in a split second, you think he’s supposed to wait and assess his injury before stopping the woman? This seriously makes sense to you?
He is trained to STOP THE THREAT. Even if he wasn’t hit at all she clearly acted as if her car was her weapon. She needed to be stopped.

He will get his day in court just like everyone else that shoots someone in the face.

The orders were to "move your car" and "get out of the car", which was she supposed to follow? And from the video, you can see he was out of the way of her vehicle BEFORE he fired at her. 3 times.
