He did not lean in. He was standing there and got hit. 
In a situation like that, that is unfolding in a split second, you think he’s supposed to wait and assess his injury before stopping the woman?  This seriously makes sense to you?
He is trained to STOP THE THREAT.  Even if he wasn’t hit at all she clearly acted as if her car was her weapon. She needed to be stopped. [/quote]
