Right. Trump is corrupt who pardoned his daughter's father-in-law. Remember, presidents have immunity. |
Sentences would be commuted, they'd be released, etc. Which is a disgrace. We saw with our own eyes the violent cop-hating Proud Boys savagely beating Capitol Police and smashing and destroying the property of the United States. Those lunatics are not fit to roam freely in civil society. |
So we can start with Jim Jordan and proceed through the list of dozens of Trump associates and administration figures who simply ignored subpoenas. Cool. |
As to your last point … lately??? Lately? Have you never heard of red scares and McCarthyism/ Hooverism, friend? Have you never encountered an individual railroaded by our criminal justice system? The principles of law and the Constitution have been distorted and exploited by our political class for a very long time, not just the past ten years. |
Liz Cheney and the Jan 6 committee highlighted people who sought pardons from Trump, saying this was a sign of guilt. |
If it comes out in future investigations, whether under Trump or a future president, that people on the J6 Committee, or Fauci, sat on evidence or lied to preserve their position and withheld information from Americans, how would you feel about these pardons?
Just asking. Out of curiosity. I understand that some people strongly feel Fauci and J6 Committee members committed no wrong, but the pardons precludes any possibilities of potential prosecutions if it turned out they did, in fact, commit transgressions. Given both COVID and the role of the J6 committee, these would not be small transgressions but actions that, while small in its own way, had enormous impact on Americans, both in action and in behavior and beliefs. That's why I'm bothered by these pardons. If they did nothing wrong, then there was no need for pardons. If they did do something wrong, they should not be protected by pardons. |
For over 400k a year and that government pension plus the profits off of his book - (Covid made him a household name) - Fauci has done very well for himself. So let's stop with the "public servant" violin - this man was not a public school teacher. The glorification of him is nauseating. |
There are easily hundreds of thousands of Americans alive today who wouldn't have been if it were not for Fauci's work. |
He thinks he’s God. I’ll admit, his global depopulation goal was quite successful. |
Do you still believe someone dined on Bat Soup in Wuhan? |
We know that Trump is jealous of smart people, but we can’t let him put people in jail because they hurt trumps feeewings. |
Hanging a picture is definitely the same as a criminal prosecution. |
Going after Milley is insane. Trump and MAGA are mental. |
