I'm betting anything he shoveled the entire driveway, cleared all the cars, and has to work.

Don't be lazy.

It is not that much snow. It is not heavy. I was shoveling a foot of snow by age 12… an entire long driveway! As an adult I had to shovel the driveway while toddlers were asleep with 6-8 inches several times a week when husband was on work travel.

You are lazy!

Please explain why anyone needs to shovel a deck that NO ONE is using. It’s not a pathway anywhere. It’s just a deck. Why does it have to be shoveled?

This would take less than 10 min. My 9-year old shoveled the deck today while playing in the snow. She asked to do it. If it so not trex, the paint can last longer. By the way, I was assigned myself to paint our deck, every single summer in upstate New York because my dad did not shovel the deck in the winter and it damaged the finish. Obviously that’s not going to happen in Virginia but I would’ve just done it because he asked and also it’s good exercise.
