Question for women: what are some of your favorite alternatives to missionary?

Man sitting on a chair or sofa and woman on top is probably a favorite for me and my partner.

Different versions of doggie are fun and exciting in an animalistic way but reaching O is sometimes difficult/impossible for both of us.

I didn’t realize that men don’t typically like to go down in a woman after sex. All my partners have (not that that’s such a large sample size).

But I assumed that’s what most people do if the woman doesn’t come from penetration. He goes down and you’re both satisfied.

NP. How common is for middle-age women to be happily married to a man who is not physical (and where there is not particularly fantastic emotional fulfillment either) and where the dynamics is mainly that of best friends?

I love doing it before intercourse but I don't really like doing it after intercourse. I'm willing but it wouldn't be a thrill for me. If she still hasn't achieved climax by the end of intercourse, that usually means oral didn't work for O and intercourse didn't work after that. If we've gotten that far, the best bets are usually well placed fingers or just waiting until the next morning. Fortunately this isn't usually an issue.
