Thankfully haven’t seen this in my social circle. The ones with mismatched partners are rare, to the point I checked in early on to make sure this is what they really wanted and when they affirmed their happiness, I was good.

Fortunately my husband matches me pretty well and we’re happy with one another. Ultimately that’s all that matters, if the couple is happy, leave them be.
