What was the "waity Katie" dig?

The British tabloids used to relentlessly call Kate "waity Katie" suggesting that she was waiting around doing nothing until will finally proposed to her. It's a dig at her being a commoner, social climber and supposedly having nothing else going for her. This had long since receded into the background and Kate has garnered more favorable coverage and reception. Meghan "just so happened" to mention this old nickname in an interview to drag Kate back through the mud.

*in the highly visible Oprah interview. The suggestion is that she dredged it back up with malicious, devious intentions to drag Kate. Did she need to drag that back up again to make her point?

That's an insightful post. I agree with them. Apparently Shallon Lester does too. She ripped them a new one for including her in the Netflix sh-tshow without her consent, and then misrepresenting her. Think she's suing them. Check out her YouTube channel, she is snarky and brutal.
