Hence his exile (although why they chose LA leaves all of us wondering...).

Yes, I thought they were going to go to Canada. LA is not what comes to mind when I think “Quiet” and “private.”

Although Montecito — about 100 miles from LA might be closer to what comes to mind for many people when they think “quiet and private”.

MONTECITO and LA are quite different from each other. (Caps are for the benefit of the OP who wonders “why they chose LA”. They didn’t. Although I can imagine several reasons why they might. )

Ha ha tell me you’ve never lived in Montecito without telling me you’ve never lived in Montecito

I grew up there…it’s long been where all the celebrity/would be celebrities go when they want to pretend like they’re seeking a break from the spotlight but are actually still craving attention…decades before anyone had ever heard of Megan Markle

Don’t they live next to Oprah or something like that?

The "inside" rumors is that its M who wants to divorce. Harry not wanting to repeat history.

He just testified against the British tabloids. I wouldn’t believe anything the British “press” reports on them because they’re now out for revenge.

That wasn’t Meghan, hence the super blurry photo. Staged.

Interesting! Tell me more. Was it Harry? Did Meghan hire these actors or were they just random other people that the person taking the pictures assumed were them?

Has there ever been a time when this doofus wasn't privately struggling?

His brand is struggling. I mean that both ways.

Oh! Do they even have kids to bring to a parade?

Why do they have to be joined at the hip for everything? Harry had significant projects before he met Meghan. They can each cater to their own strengths.

Wishful thinking. You should mind your own marriage instead of wishing other people ill.

Not sure how accurate this is, but I read somewhere yesterday that after the spotify embarrassment, they have decided that Meghan will focus on doing some film work(?) and/or branding (reviving Tig), while Harry will focus on philanthropic pursuits.

LA person here - Agreed!! Montecito is a nice and quiet town, until Meghan calls the paps on herself. Most of the photos are from backgrid, hello! The call is coming from inside the house, Harry!

DP, but this is the classic deflection of the abuser. This is exactly what my narc cousin said when people warned her that sh-tshow of a marriage (with another narc) was on the rocks. She thought we were wishing her ill. Turned out she had been gossiping about all our marriages and stealing stuff from people all along. She viewed any advice, even helpful criticism, as an attack because that was how she behaved. For you to say this, I have to wonder about you and your private ways of behaving.

PP made an assessment of two public figures who thrive off of attention and want everyone's attention on them. Who want attention so much that they'll go on a "Worldwide Privacy Tour" to get it. You can't seek the public's attention and then get mad when the public make critical assessments about you. Doesn't work that way, sweetheart.
