Probably. If I were her dad, I wouldn't talk to her. He paid for her to attend Northwestern under the agreement that she would pay him back later once she was financially settled. What dad makes their child pay back their college tuition?

She wasn't a child, she was in her 30s. And my ex-boyfriend paid back his (land-rich, Southern plantation owner) parents after graduating from an expensive Southern school that he wanted to attend instead of the local state university.

She was 18 when she entered college, not in her 30’s. She was there from 1999-2003, easily Googled. She was born in 1981.
