I think the "obsession" is that it is almost always done by someone who knows the victim. The son was nearest person, plus people incredulously ask "how could you not hear someone being violently murdered in your house?!?!"

But the son doesn't appear to have a motive or the means, so that's why I dismissed that theory quite easily.

It was done by someone who knew the victim. Her affair partner!

The affair partner makes sense. I also wondered whether the husband had hired someone -- maybe even this alleged handyman/affair partner. The thing that seemed odd to me was how the husband was so quick to say he was out of town as his first response rather than express any grief or devastation. He even tweeted they were out of town.. It just seemed like he was trying to emphasize his alibi too much. It also seemed like he wouldn't want his son to find the body so he made arrangements to have it removed. The only thing that's hard to square with that is the number of stabbings. That does seem to suggest a crime of passion rather than a hit job. But maybe it was both. The texting is weird too. Again, it sets the husband up as a victim. Maybe he is, but it could also be an agreed upon plan to try to divert this away from the husband.

He should get his $ back that was a very shoddy amateur job. Mr. Klein shouldn’t have been so cheap.

Though I don’t think he did. I think everyone blames the husband first. How do you know no grief was displayed? Though I think she’s been caught sheeting before and he probably didn’t really give a sh@t about her because of it. Remember she stayed out all night without telling him before and he had to call the police.

One of the aerial photos shows there is a large woody section across the street. Why not drag the bag into the woods? This seems unplanned and frantic which leans towards the scorned wife crime of passion scenario. The fact that she went missing to the point that the police were called, the oldest sons videos and music posting (his song titles, description of finally his life has meaning if others find joy in his death screams), the selfies at her age, all that glitters isn’t gold. Something was off in that home.

No. The police were called when she went missing the prior time, last June. I don't think they were called this time. I think the bag was discovered and they traced the blood trail back to the house.

I am referring to her prior disappearance where the police were called.

How could she leave a 13 year old alone at night. Something is off here.
No way, my 13 year old would stay home alone at night.

Whatever happened, there is a ton of electronic and physical evidence, as well as eyewitnesses that evening to her whereabouts, who she talked to, etc.

Security cameras caught someone wheeling the body away from the home. They did not film anyone returning to the home. The police confirmed that the 13-year-old did not leave the home that night. They said the person of interest is a man who knew the victim and had access to the house.

Adding: I agree that the person wheeling the bag looks like a teen in the still photo but when you see the video it looks more like a man. The person wheeled the bag, which was probably 120 lbs. or so, with ease. The police say they are looking for a man.

Affairs for SAHMs are very common since Ashley Madison and the like came to be. I bet the guy had been over many times prior. Some jealousy or something---probably having to do with the fact there were several other men on the chain (the different numbers).

This woman was reported missing prior by the family which definitely leads me to think there were mental health issues or she was out with a lover/likely both since you have to be messed up a bit in the head to cheat.

Her millions of selfies and seductive looks point to the fact she needed external validation.

Agreed PP, I pointed to this earlier. The prior episode cannot be overlooked.

Because she wanted to get laid. I know a mother that did stuff like this. Also lives in a million home+ and has the “perfect mom” image. She is truthfully very manipulative abs a pathological liar. She believes her own lies.

No -- when this first happened he answered the phone to a reporter and was upset. Other than that, he hasn't spoken publicly - but that doesn't make him guilty of a crime. It would be weird if he were doing interviews. His tweet about the college visit (and also recommending an anti-Putin book) were before the murder. I don't see any reason to suspect the husband, and I sure can't imagine that he'd be conspiring with his wife's AP. I feel terrible for the husband and kids.

Because she wasn’t the good mother she pretended to be.

There must have been a ring camera or some security video camera for a 2 million dollar home??

Of it was a lover who was a regular visitor, he would have known about both…and they probably joked about avoiding them/day long them before their daytime trysts.

They are reliving some time 30 years ago with zero idea of the dangers in the world today and psychos lurking online. Lots of risks taken.

Crime was an order of magnitude worse thirty years ago than it is now.

Don’t leave a spare key by the house… give it to family near by… scary…

This was in reference to online dating. The internet didn’t even exist (or email), much less online dating when a 51-year old was 25. I know. I’m 51.

Middle aged women just getting into online dating culture have no idea the risks and take chances and assume a “married guy” is safe—both in terms of STIs and in terms of danger to their physical safety. They couldn’t be more naive. And they take a lot more risks when in midlife crisis mode.
