NY mom murdered

Is anyone else following this story? Was it the son, the husband hired someone, or truly a random guy from her past? Very creepy.

I think the son and Dad tried to cover it by flying out with him pretending to look at schools. The timing is very sketchy. But I hope it’s NOT the sons

Read another article where the dad was sent texts after the killing and said the mom had sent him (the killer) to jail in the past and now he’s back and the rest of the family is next. Sounds like they should have something to go on—texts, video etc.

He must have been released because they have video and must have figured out the height doesn’t line up. As for husband away, clearly there would have been info on when flight was booked and hotel etc etc. He may have hired someone but something about being stabbed 60 times doesn’t scream hit. My guess is she had an alternative life and it caught up with her. Also perhaps the vendetta against husband but he isn’t a prosecutor so not sure what that would be about. The whole thing is strange..and sad.

Conflicting stories - she was out with friends and came home alone, she was out with a lover and brought him back, the son killed her.

Agree. The weird text plus husband out of town plus story floated in the NY Post that she was out with a man instead of friends totally makes me think the husband arranged it.

I disagree. The husband wouldn’t leave his youngest son home to suffer that trauma or be suspected. It’s not the husband, it’s the youngest son.

I thought oldest son did it. DH grabbed him and flew out to try and hide it (Portland then to Wisconsin?) and younger son asleep. Dad trying to protect child .
