ICE Shooting in Minneapolis

Anonymous
I’ve watched a bunch of the videos from different angles, and the most recently posted. One really does seem to be from Officer Ross body camera however how on earth did it get leaked or released so quickly?

I have no idea how anyone can say he was justified after watching that last video from his own perspective. He wasn't even in front of the car!

The agent had already made up his mind to shoot the driver when she backed up his car.

Yes, there is no world in which this video exonerates him. She was turning the steering wheel right. The car was pulling out. We've all seen that action thousands of times in our lifetime. There is no point in that video where it makes any sense to start taking headshots.

I am a school teacher who does carpool / bus duty every morning and afternoon.

I’m in as much danger as officer Ross was. Should I carry a piece to shoot parents?

Exactly this. It's hard to believe that a hardened law enforcement official "feared for his life" in that video. Not even MAGA would believe he's that big of a snowflake. He wanted to shoot.

Yes. An angry little authoritarian man pissed as hell that a couple of les***ns challenged his authority (to make his own rules). He was setting them straight about who's the boss.

I am 61 years old and not the heroic type. I can say that had I been in his shoes I would NOT have been in fear of my life or the lives of others.

I do not see how anyone could watch that and not clearly conclude she drove right at him and actually hit him. He was justified in deploying deadly force here.

Case closed.

WTF? Yes, case closed...he murdered her.

she was turning right. He was at the corner of her vehicle. He could've stepped out of the way, but he was VERY ready with his gun, fired multiple shots, and then called her a bit ch.

He also testified under oath in an earlier case that he knows ICE agents should step out of the way of moving vehicles.

Wow.

They are going to try pretty hard to keep this out of evidence.

He may have PTSD from that incident. Which means he was on a tripwire. And incapable of being professional when it comes to vehicle stops. Absolutely no law enforcement officer thinks him blowing this woman's head off was remotely justifiable. It's straight up murder, regardless of his past experiences. He shouldn't have been in this position to begin with. Which indicates big problems at ICE and Homeland Security. I suspect there are a lot of hotheads at ICE and DHS who do not have the temperament or disposition to handle a gun today.

Especially today, when DHS and ICE seem to be hiring every mall cop in America with their $50,000 bonuses. These people are not professional. I really think everyone needs to read up on the brownshirts in Nazi Germany. Because that's where we're at.

And he moved TOWARD a vehicle turning right. He didn't leap out of the way.

Oh my God.

It’s not bodycam. It’s Ross’s cellphone recording.

Trump posted it on X thinking it exonerates Ross.

Tell you what, if I’m ever accused of murder, the last two idiots I’d want defending me are Trump and Vance

He had a cell phone in one hand and a gun in the other, and walked in front of a car in the middle of a street.

Fearing for his life he stopped walking so he could shoot?

He fired two of the shots as she was driving away!

If you compare the eyewitness video above, to the excellent analysis here by the BBC, it’s clear this was a lawful and legitimate use of deadly force by the police:

The BBC provided good analysis here.

And whil ehe was fearing for his life, Ross was filiming with his cellphone in his left hand and unholstering and dischargung his weapon with his right hand.

Sounds like he was petrified his life was in imminent danger. filming his last moments for hi scrotch-goblins, to be sure.

My guess is if it's from Ross's body camera it was doctored.

I mean if you're going to +1, point out which second of the video justified shooting?

The nation is too polarized to see that all of this is wrong. Every event turns into a psychotic tug of war using black and white thinking.
