War with Iran Part II

Keep in mind that all Iranians have an account that the govt deposits money into during tough times. Since blockade began, the “new” regime has been depositing funds and assuring people they are cared for. They are doing better than before, and new regime is gaining more popularity among Iranians.

It is highly unlikely Iran will cave due to the blockade.

You mean $7 per month they’ve gotten since January?? Could you sound more idiotic??

https://www.nytimes.com/2026/01/05/world/europe/iran-protests-payments.html

$7 can buy several kilograms of meat, rice, produce, and 100 eggs.
That’s not chump change.

Oh, BS. Stop defending the Iranian regime's pathetic attempt to placate the masses who despise them.

But the $7 monthly payments offer little relief to beleaguered consumers who are suffering from food inflation of 64%. It’s made worse by a 60% crash in the currency’s value since June, when Iran and Israel fought a 12-day war that was capped by the U.S. bombing of Tehran’s nuclear facilities.

The experts have been saying this for a while. The US will be forced to leave the region. Iran is the new power in the region. Good luck UAE!

The missile threat is too great to maintain these bases. The US has 27 bases in the ME all for the defense of Israel. Before the war operating these bases was about 1/3 of our total defense spending. We spent less on NATO vs the cost of these bases for Israel.

You're funny. The purposes of those military bases are to secure oil routes, protect allies, counter terrorism, and deter Iran and other regional threats under the US Central Command (CENTCOM) framework. Yes, Israel is one of those allies - but so is the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Egypt, Oman, and Jordan. Your fixation on and hatred of Israel is noted.

So wait, two things:

1) Which are those other regional threats that you think so highly of?
2) Without the Israel mafia, the US wouldn't need to ally with any of those other countries.

Stop moving goalposts and arguing about third order effects that only manifest because of the initial problem: Israel.

Sorry, what? Ever heard of Iranian-backed proxies, Hezbollah, Hamas, and Houthis? Sure you have. All three pose a threat to our ME allies, listed above. Interesting that you completely ignore the Iranian mafia, but not surprising.

DP So how many Israel back proxies attack Iran?

Zero. They don’t hide behind proxies.

lol sure! Israel has a long history of using proxies in Iran. Israel will have to give these groups up as part of any peace deal.

Really! Provide credible citations of "Israeli proxies in Iran."

Why does Israel need proxies? They can just use a mossad to slaughter civilians and cause chaos like they've already admitted too. No need to even use proxies like ISIS and Al-Qaeda as Israel did in Syria (confirmed by former counterintelligence director Joe Kent).

So, when called out on your lies and inability to back up your claims, you move the goalposts. How typical. Israel doesn't hide behind proxies like Iran does.

Huh? Why?

It's indisputable that Israel bribed Trump to get us to fight this war for them. This is all very much connected. Israel is the impetus, in fact.

The only payment I know is from MBS 2billion to Kushner also from UAE as crypto currency investment and Qatar Airplane gift.
I don’t know any payment from Israel.

To start with there was $100 million from Miriam Adelson in 2024. In December 2025 Trump said it was $250 million.

https://www.timesofisrael.com/miriam-adelson-gives-100-million-to-trump-campaign-making-good-on-reported-pledge/

It's funny how you cite the Times of Israel when it suits your narrative, but deride it as "Zionist" when it doesn't.

I’m a new poster. The poster above is not your research assistant. You sound like a jerk.

This is now COMMON knowledge. Turn off Fox and read the real news from around the world. From Der Speigel to the Financial Times. It’s very clear we lost.

Are you deranged? What do you think the U.S. armed forces serve as? WE’RE THEIR PROXY!

Speaking of deranged ^^. We're their ally. You really are confused.

PP claimed that Israel doesn’t hide behind proxies, when that’s exactly what Israel does when the U.S. is cashing the checks that the big Zionist mouth writes. In conflict with Iran. At the U.N. in the ICC / ICJ. And elsewhere.

Moron. I forgot to address you clearly. There.

I highly doubt you're a "new poster." Are you unaware that when you make a claim or seem to quote from a source, the onus is on YOU (the poster) to include a link to said source? Get a clue.

BS. They gave you the source. It's easily googleable. A link is nice; a source is fundamental.

But thanks for playing warden.

My understanding of the US war on Iran:

1. Strait closed - global energy costs up 40 percent.

2. US bases in GCC damaged or severely damaged.

3. US munitions depleted.

4. Profits from new defense contracts directed to Presidents family.

5. US relations with Europe lowest since before WWII.

6. Nuclear material intact in Iran.

7. Israel alienated globally.

8. Adherence to US Constitution increasingly degraded - no war authorization from Congress

But you cannot say we’re losing the war because that would constitute treason. RIP 1A …

Again, those are third order problems... That begin and end with Israel.

Oh, BS. The Iranian “mafia” has been terrorizing the ME and US for decades.

9/11 was from our friend Saudi Arabia.

Not even talking about 9/11. Referring to all the terrorism, bombings, kidnappings, suicide bombings, etc. targeting US citizens, military personnel, and diplomatic facilities by Iran and its terrorist proxies. Keep up.

did this happen before the 1953 coup orchestrated by the CIA on behalf of BP??? I know that for us, that is so long ago and who cares but Iranians have been on a 75 year long odyssey of oppression since then and yes, the shah regime was also horrific and oppressive and he wasn't a king like Charles- he was US installed dictator who was called king b/c Iranians are culturally super bougie so it sounded better. this is all Blowback, we did something truly horrible and we have to bear the consequences somewhat for what our government did, that isn't saying teh Iranians government doesnt suck- they do- but it is our fault. the CIA's decisions to arm mullahs in the postcolonial period has really bad consequences.

“Unprecedented destruction”

“Majority of U.S. military sites in the Middle East damaged by Iran, CNN investigation reveals.

Donald Trump and Pete Hegseth desperately tried to keep the extent of the damage from the public so people wouldn’t see how badly this was botched. Now the images are coming out and they’re disturbing.“

10. It’s going to cause a global food crisis, though Trump will probably view starving more countries as a positive.
