The experts have been saying this for a while. The US will be forced to leave the region. Iran is the new power in the region. Good luck UAE!

The missile threat is too great to maintain these bases. The US has 27 bases in the ME all for the defense of Israel. Before the war operating these bases was about 1/3 of our total defense spending. We spent less on NATO vs the cost of these bases for Israel.

You're funny. The purposes of those military bases are to secure oil routes, protect allies, counter terrorism, and deter Iran and other regional threats under the US Central Command (CENTCOM) framework. Yes, Israel is one of those allies - but so is the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Egypt, Oman, and Jordan. Your fixation on and hatred of Israel is noted.

So wait, two things:

1) Which are those other regional threats that you think so highly of?
2) Without the Israel mafia, the US wouldn't need to ally with any of those other countries.

Stop moving goalposts and arguing about third order effects that only manifest because of the initial problem: Israel.

God you’re dumb.

DP

Israel’s policies and actions have transformed the ME into the epicenter of global conflict. Where those same Israelis previously lived, they created the exact same discord and conflict.

Our support of Israel has never lead to peace in the ME (in fact, it has lead to the exact opposite), has never made the U.S. safer (in fact, we’ve never been at greater risk), and has never been in American interests.

Like billions of others, I look forward to the day when we drop these bloodsucking parasites (and as soon as possible!)

There’s a difference between critique of our support of Israel and stupidly believing that ME conflict begins and ends with Israel.

DP. Not if you look at the history of the Israel and the ME. The US has gone from fighting the cold and free passage of shipping to protecting Israel from any consequences of their actions and oppressing the whole region for Israel. Israel is the problem.

Well said, just look at oded yinon plan and Netanyahu's clean break. Part of their greater Israel project has always been sowing chaos and death throughout the middle east. Only Pro Zionist morons can't see otherwise.

Sorry, what? Ever heard of Iranian-backed proxies, Hezbollah, Hamas, and Houthis? Sure you have. All three pose a threat to our ME allies, listed above. Interesting that you completely ignore the Iranian mafia, but not surprising.

Again, those are third order problems... That begin and end with Israel.

Oh, BS. The Iranian “mafia” has been terrorizing the ME and US for decades.

9/11 was from our friend Saudi Arabia.

Not even talking about 9/11. Referring to all the terrorism, bombings, kidnappings, suicide bombings, etc. targeting US citizens, military personnel, and diplomatic facilities by Iran and its terrorist proxies. Keep up.

There's no good side here. The regime in Iran is awful. It's religious lunatics that are hated everywhere. But we started a completely unnecessary war for reasons no one can discern - when talking about America's national interest. And we have doubled the cost of energy and fertilizer for everyone on the planet. Obviously everyone in the world hates the US for doing this. It's not just Bubba in Kentucky stressing about gas prices or farmers in Iowa worried about fertilizer. It's the entire planet.

And for what?

How has this war benefitted Americans or the world? Iran now controls the Strait of Hormuz and will certainly pursue nuclear weapons going forward. The ayatollah we killed had a fatwa on pursuing nuclear weapons. The much more radical Iranian government now has no such limitations. And going nuclear is a rational response to American attacks. We are certainly not touching North Korea since they have nukes.

This war was an incredibly stupid decision. There's no good way out. Only Israelis are loving this.

Zero. They don’t hide behind proxies.

Are you deranged? What do you think the U.S. armed forces serve as? WE’RE THEIR PROXY!

Keep in mind that all Iranians have an account that the govt deposits money into during tough times. Since blockade began, the “new” regime has been depositing funds and assuring people they are cared for. They are doing better than before, and new regime is gaining more popularity among Iranians.

It is highly unlikely Iran will cave due to the blockade.

You mean $7 per month they’ve gotten since January?? Could you sound more idiotic??

$7 can buy several kilograms of meat, rice, produce, and 100 eggs.
That’s not chump change.

Why does Israel need proxies? They can just use a mossad to slaughter civilians and cause chaos like they've already admitted too. No need to even use proxies like ISIS and Al-Qaeda as Israel did in Syria (confirmed by former counterintelligence director Joe Kent).

Huh? Why?

It's indisputable that Israel bribed Trump to get us to fight this war for them. This is all very much connected. Israel is the impetus, in fact.

The only payment I know is from MBS 2billion to Kushner also from UAE as crypto currency investment and Qatar Airplane gift.
I don’t know any payment from Israel.

To start with there was $100 million from Miriam Adelson in 2024. In December 2025 Trump said it was $250 million.

Obama’s JCPOA would’ve allowed Iran to have a stronger middle class and naturally weaken the hardliners. The country would’ve opened up again and returned to its glorious past. A past that has lasted for thousand's of years unlike us.

Instead, of we strangled their economy so they are a convenient boogeyman for Israel to keep demanding money from us.

At least 16 American installations are heavily damaged and virtually unusable.
