Doesn't sound like Iran is doing well at all. Sad trombone.

Sure dude. Israel is more likely to collapse before Iran does. I just wonder how and when Trump will sell out Israel.

They will find a way to blame Biden, or maybe even Obama.

I hear them complaining about gas prices. I assume they silently make the connection in their head… (coworkers, people in my community).

I live in a purple area but work in a red area.

No way Iran agrees to a ceasefire. Israel is now killing so many people in Lebanon so regularly that the media has lost interest. Much like it did in Gaza.

The way things are now would not allow me to assume they are making that connection. You are giving them way too much credit.

This is heartbreaking to me. Like with Gaza I am astounded we are sitting back and letting this happen.

And this time it’s so much worse - everyone is scared to protest based on what happened to protesters last time (remember the Tufts student swept up off the street by unidentified men while she was in the phone with her mom - all for writing an opt ed protesting what Israel was doing in Gaza!). We officially are living under a repressive regime.

Yep any criticism of this war is antisemitic because Israel forced the US to attack.

I think Israel is going to find that there is a price to pay for being just mortifyingly horrible to another country. And regardless of their own history and treatment, the people of the world will rally against them. Because at a certain point in time, history because history and we judge the present.

As a country, they will find they are short friends other than the US. And the US has lost their own friends so that all they will really have is each other. China, Russia and N Korea don't even want to be friends with these 2.

You know who's actually scared to protest? Iranian citizens. Can't blame them considering the Iranian regime murdered thousands of them the last time they protested.

But that’s totally not the point. The point is how close we are to being Iran. Student protesters were doxed, job offers pulled, etc. In what universe is that ok? Iran’s maybe but we are the United States. Don’t we want better?
