That's not true. The only policy that changed was implementation of Title 42.
All others were implemented prior to the pandemic. Remain in Mexico - Jan, 2019, for example.

The huge numbers of migrants arriving from Venezuela are starving. They would stay in Venezuela if only Maduro would leave, but his corrupt government has destroyed a once-thriving economy.
As a result, the people of Venezuela are starving. Half of Venezuelans live in dire poverty. Many have only enough money to eat one meal a day. Children are skin and bones because their parents can't find jobs that will pay them enough money to buy food for their children.
I think it would be nice if the US invaded Venezuela, removed Maduro and installed a Democratically elected President, oxymoron though it is, someone who would fix the economy, so tens of thousands of Venezuelans wouldn't need to undertake the dangerous journey to the US border because they are so desperate to survive.
Thousands of migrants are arrested at the border every day and thousands are removed by the Biden administration. Migrants who have a valid claim to asylum or for other reasons (enumerated in immigration law) are allowed into the country. Biden did not write our nonsensical, Rube-Goldberg system of immigration laws. Educate yourself and see if you can find a way to fix it. Oh, better yet, get your GOP pals to vote to fix it. The immigration laws and system can be fixed, but your GOP folks want to complain, and do nothing to improve this country's nonsensical immigration system, leaving the mess we have now in place.

But he is. The cages are still there. And, over 85,000 unaccompanied children are unaccounted for. They cannot find them. The phone numbers they gave do not work or there is no answer.
