NP. The bolded is not believable. She said she was bleeding, damaged and sore, yet she did not seek medical attention. That is just not believable. She would have sought medical attention if for no other reason but to make sure severe damage did not occur as a result of the bottle. Was it a glass bottle? Was the bottle chipped and she was cut? Questions that have not be answered, but if I was on a jury this is the one thing I would question. She didn't even bother to get a check-up with her private OB-GYN. Nope, not believable
Not sure you've ever been raped by a significant other. What do you think she's going to do, go to an emergency room? Getting an appointment with your gynecologist usually schedules out about a month in advance. She could do this if she wanted to go to an emergency room, or maybe if she wanted to go to a clinic. Otherwise it's going to be a hassle, and moreover she's probably going to have to answer some questions.
The description of "bleeding, damaged, and sore" could indicate varying degrees of injury. It may not be something an emergency room is required for. Some women get this from regular sex without enough lube. The point here is that it was not consensual and it hurt her. I don't think anyone suggested it was a broken bottle.
And if she HAD gone to the doctor, and had the injuries documented, for some of you it would still not be enough proof of non consensual sex, or that it was done by JD. It's a total catch 22 for women. The reactions from Depp supporters is so nuts to me.
Isn't it then a Catch 22 for men, as well? An accusation is made and the woman MUST be believed regardless of how little evidence is presented to support her claim. The only "proof" AH has of this event is that she says it occurred. I'm no fan of JD's at all. I think he's pretty gross. But I'm also a fair minded person, and tried to be open minded from the beginning. I tend to go for the underdog in a situation like this, and thought I would find myself behind AH. But watching the testimony, nothing adds up to me. I'm sorry, in a court of law, you can't just make accusations and expect them to be taken as truth simply because a woman made the accusation against a man. If she rolled into court with photos of a broken nose or police reports of DV, or an actual medical report from seeking medical attention, I'd be saying the opposite. But no, her claims just don't seem believable to me.

Why should there not be vitriol towards Heard? Isn't she on record as being the aggressor in these altercations and has admitted to starting "physical fights" and hitting him in the face? There is indisputable evidence of that in these recordings. She then portrayed herself as a DV victim when the perpetrator is famous, knowing full well that she actually initiated DV against him on multiple occasions.

What do individual poster’s ‘standards’ have to do with whether he was defamed? How do you square this with his loss in the UK case? Was the judge there guilty of very low standards?
