Isn’t his dad on the SJC staff?

Yes

All the 2022 Hawks/ SJC kids are transferring to Spalding.
Confirmed.

Why would kids transfer out their senior year of High School, unless SJC is purely just bringing in kids to play lax. I'm not going to "buy" this idea that just because their club lax coach is going to be coaching at Spalding next Spring, several SJC players are going to rush to judgement and switch schools their final year in HS.

How many of SJC's star players are from the greater Annapolis area? I could see how the daily commute of being stuck on route 50 and going around the beltway can be mentally draining for adults / students but most sane parents are well aware of the driving logistics when deciding on which HS for their son or daughter.

I was also under the impression SJC was boarding kids in a few houses across across the street from campus, is that rumor or "fake news"

Only one starter from the Annapolis area and he played FCA till after ninth grade.
Other kids are not from Annapolis. More southern Maryland than anything.
Charles, PG, and Calvert County families.
The housing thing is not true. Only Coach in the area to pull that nonsense is the Prep assistant who was at Bullis prior, and had players live in his basement.

Prep guy here. We will know after tonight, weather permitting, who the better team is. Where the scoops get their kids from is largely irrelevant in my opinion. The better team will prevail. End of discussion.

So preps most valuable player is from the Richmond area and is sleeping in the DC Express coach’s basement?

Senior year transfer to Spalding makes no sense unless for proximity/commute burnout.

Does this rain cool down the hot St. John’s team?

Will be interesting to see how weather affects the game. Prep is already sloppy with the ball. Will bad weather be an equalizer or accentuate an existing Prep weakness? Will the Prep face-off advantage be neutralized in the slop? Will dodgers on both teams lose their footing? Expecting even more turnovers and imbalanced breaks.
