Not sure I agree that SJC would beat SSSAS now, but agree that underclassmen develop better when they get to play and overall team balance over multiple years can improve.

See eg Maryvale and SPSG in the IAAM. Both started Freshmen over established upperclass commits. Will be a benefit over the next several years.

playing time helps but the sjc freshman were a no show in WCAC championship game.

One of them had 3 goals, but nice post jack wagon.

Not the OP and no dog in this particular fight, but do want these pages to work, so going to weigh in.

No one mentioned a specific kid or kids. More than half SJC's starters are underclassmen. The post seemed relevant to me in relation to the ongoing debate on how to work underclassmen into the Varsity rotation; a discussion that focused on some of the ISL schools. With that background, you went out of your way to attack a further subset and point out a game where you perceived they didn't play their best--apparently erroneously in part.

I think those of us who saw the game, or watched the feed, can all note that GC overpowered SJC. Good game for the Falcons. Your intent on personalizing this is ugly, and entirely on you. You should call your mother, or your psychologist, to explore that, but those viewpoints should not be welcome here.

No one is suggesting that coaches put inferior players or underclassman in general on the field during a close game just so they can get practice.

If you can afford SS/SA or receive some type of FA, you will likely receive the same amount at Potomac (I'm assuming or within reason at least)

Driving from Alexandria to North Bethesda every day is a freaking hellish of a commute for anyone hence why I think Potomac naturally makes sense for any potential Saints transfer given they stay on the VA side of the Potomac.
