| We thought Marco Rubio was the best, the only legitimate, cabinet member. He is going to go to jail when this is all over and haved a lot of time to dwell on every one of his choices. |
Who thought that? |
His fellow Senators, for one. I think he’s the only Trump nominee who was confirmed with a voice vote. Many, many columns from experts at the time who were relieved that he was qualified and somewhat normal compared to the clown car that is the rest of this cabinet. |
The power enshrined in the Sec. of State role is deeply corruptive, as we continue to see. Reform, please. |

WTF why post this crap? She has less credibility vs any anonymous poster here. My god you are a fool. |
I don't think Marco Rubio ever attracted widespread admiration from his Senate peers. But he wasn't thought to be a cocaine-addled conspiracy theorist like RFK Jr. or an inexperienced, incompetent liar like Kash Patel, so he went through the Senate approval process fairly smoothly. |
What a sad time when Rand Patel becomes the voice of reason. https://www.politico.com/live-updates/2025/09/08/congress/rand-paul-jd-vance-boat-strike-00551368

Rand who?? |

Maduro is not only the president of Venezuela. He's also the head of a cartel. The govt of Venezuela and the cartel are intertwined as a narco state.
As an aside, Tren de Aragua is a paramilitary organization of Venezuela at this point. |
Yet the boat did not have drugs on it. Though let’s play your game. Venezuela government is a drug cartel. Why would they need a speed boat to move drugs if the government is moving the drugs? You make no sense, |
https://www.nytimes.com/2025/09/10/us/trump-drug-boat-venezuela-strike.html So the refugees had turned around and Trump order the US military to murder all the people on the boat. Someone is going to prison. |
No one's going to prison. Remember all those judge advocates general Hegseth fired back in February? Because he didn't want them to pose any "roadblocks to orders that are given by a commander in chief." This is why. They would have been a roadblock to this. |
