Word is leaking out about the attack. Apparently the boat was going to be intercepted and boarded. Trump said no blow it up.

It is now looking like these were just people trying to escape Venezuela and they were not heading for the US. Good chance of women and children on the boat. Drug boats do not have a lot of people on them because every person means less drugs can be carried.

If this was done during war, it would be a war crime. You cannot target civilians. There are a whole bunch of other US military regulations and rules this strike violates. No lawyer would approve of this strike.

This was not done during war so it is straight up murder. Everyone involved will be in serious trouble in a few years. Sounds like Rubio was very involved.

Why shouldn’t drug companies and healthcare insurance executives and employees be summarily executed just like those alleged “gang” members on that boat? They are doing the same thing as those people you killed on the boat. The majority of people in this country would cheer if Trump bombed the limousines of healthcare, hedge funds, drug companies CEO’s.

Though in this case Trump killed the equivalent of a bunch of fedex drivers. Though there is no proof these guys were even involved in drugs.

So do most liberals now have permissive attitudes about murdering executives of industries they find unscrupulous? Or is this a fringe belief?

If my worst fears regarding this administration and the previous one are true, hanging following Nuremberg-style trials is going to viewed by most sane Americans as far too humane of a punishment for Antony Blinken and Marco Rubio.

Why are you commenting if you haven't looked into it. The Trump administration has not said if they had any intel other than observing a fast-moving open dory that had four high powered outboards on it.

The story I've heard is that Trump had announced he had a major announcement, and he would make a speech on September 2 in the Oval Office. He was 45 minutes late. The announcement was lame, that he was moving the Space Force to Alabama. The delay was to announce this great victory against the drug trade. The Navy had not blown up anyone yet. They searched frantically and had killed these 11 unknowns by evening. These people were killed to appease the Chancelor.
