its duplicative for every agency to have one, there will just be one for the whole government

same with EEO, HR, procurement, etc.

that should work great, right

there's just one president for the whole government, and that is fine

everything is fine

You can’t FOIA if you don’t understand the underlying documents.

The government is supposed to be for and by the people, and Trump is eliminating any function that serves people or provides consumer protection. Eat food and take drugs at your own risk, people.

You remember the Chinese Cultural Revolution? Yeah.

Yep, and Pol Pot in Cambodia?

This is intentional.

Was the entire division of Radiogical Health and Devices at FDA canned or just certain offices?

This is pretty scary.

No. The reviewers are intact and so are the OSEL scientists.

Okay….so we now know that consolidating and re-organizing for Government efficacy means looking at an org chart and cutting based on offices names that could be left-leaning or that, frankly, they just didn’t understand. No need to actually know what offices or people do. No need for a plan or people in place actually qualified to answer questions on what happens next…(just in case we had any doubt)

Have all the RIF emails been sent out?

What about IT roles?

Saw reddit comment that ODIT in CDC impacted. What does that mean to ongoing projects / platforms?

What about HHS contractors? Are they cutting contracts, the “USAID” way?

35% cuts to contracts is the current instruction. Spouse’s office has been ordered to submit justifications for all their contractors.

Basically. Pathetically, I know for a fact several RIFed offices were full of ex-Hill staff who came from Republican offices. Maybe they should have checked before firing them all.

The number of veterans whom I know who got RIFed this week keeps climbing. Specialities like procurement are disproportionately veterans because those are translatable skills from their military experience.

Thank you. Do you know what contracts are on the chopping block?
