Only 1,000 new Florida residents a day, Einstein.
Every single day.

It’s Americas nursing home.

Plenty of families moving there -- not just senior citizens.

Sure. Who cares if the kids grownup learning that it is totally cool to oppress females. That is great life lesson and maybe it can ingrained and passed down to the next generation as well. So great.

No one wants your tired propaganda.

Exactly. Radical critical race theorists aren’t welcome in Florida. They need to go where they’re wanted.

For every crt theorist you turn away, you’ll lose another 50 who refuse to work where there is no academic freedom.

There's no academic freedom anymore in most of our institutions of higher learning. Leftist groupthink has taken over campuses from coast to coast.

Exactly. Enough is enough.

Overturning roe is a signature conservative achievement.

Science and truth and knowledge and research and analysis all are inherently woke.

Thanks for agreeing that religious schools like Liberty University, BYU, Hillsdale, Oral Roberts University, Wheaton College, Pepperdine University, Bob Jones University, Regent University, Covenant College, and even CUA are not institutions of higher learning. Strange you think they’ve been taken over by leftist groupthink, but ok I’ll believe you.

Good let the snowflakes leave. Frees up slots for open minded and tolerant professors. It’s about time a state restored sanity to the educational system.

No PP claimed that all universities have been taken over by the Left. Do a better job reading next time.

I know you're just an ignorant troll. But it's not "snowflakes" who are leaving. It's professors who are worried both about the tenure system - and also about the ambiguity and uncertainty about the new anti-woke standards. You're not running out all the gender studies professors - you're running out all kinds of professors who are worried that anything they do can be reported to some stasi board, and who knows what will happen.

Basically, in all departments, what you're going to be left with are professors who have no other options. Anyone who can get tenure in another state, will take that opportunity.

I know you don't actually care about that. But it is serious.

Florida welcomes intellectuals who allow academic freedom. Indoctrination is not welcome.

That's actually not how this is playing out at all, but it's a good tag line for dummies.

Tenure is on its way out regardless of school or ideology.

Like this, too, idiots?

DeSantis halted the hiring of a new college president because his unqualified buddy didn't get far enough in the selection process.

Is this what academic freedom looks like?

Reading the letter, the name of DeSantis's buddy doesn't come up, but instead complaints about the search firm was asking candidates for their preferred pronouns and whether they are queer or transgender.

Followup, I misunderstood the tweet as Randy Fine didn't get to make the choice of who would be president, rather than he wasn't picked to be president.
