I live in Gainesville. People are moving to Florida in droves.

I know a lot of professors. I know of no one who is moving.

UF has a very active lgbtq population as well as Santa Fe Community College, also in Gainesville.

The chief of police/security at UF is a vocal lesbian and has one of the highest rates of pay in the state in campus police/security.
