Per online sources he lived in a townhouse in Springfield, with relatives.

Per a poster on this thread, he engaged in a hobby social group and had a girlfriend. So, not really an incel.

I looked at FB quickly and did not see a med mj card, was that the FB with a car and location of LA? Even if yes, that is by definition legal. It's not like he was living under a bridge smoking meth.

This site is just one where affairs are commonly talked about. It happens. If that is what happened here, did not end well in one scenario or another. Same with similar sitch where H staged it and killed both or the mom in Queens who had handyman AP kill her. Just because she was a nurse and a mom does not mean she did not have an AP. Could have been the DH's AP I suppose, but, statistically less likely.

The au pair likely lived in the basement suite, not likely that she was dating the 39 yr old. From her socials she may have been married herself.

It's really sad.

As a general rule, safer to end a rx rather than continue with an AP esp if DH has a gun, whether that will turn out to be true here or not.

It was a really big house, for a fed and nurse, wonder if they were financially stressed, too?

Could have been a handyman hire or Craigslist sale on her end and a crime opportunity on his end. Vet your household workers and meet at police stations for Craigslist sales.

^ was not clear, better to end an unhappy marriage than to try to continue a marriage with a side AP, esp when DH has a gun.

If true that the deaths were the day after DH's bday, perhaps he snapped? There was a case with very very similar facts where it turned out the DH had staged it and killed both wife and her AP. So, could be the same, could be different, time will tell.

Perhaps the PP who said they knew him will come back and tell us what his job/line of work was.

I’ve seen very positive comments online from people who knew both victims, but none about the husband. As for the au pair, we don’t even know if she saw the attack or only heard it.

Yes, the MJ card was on the FB page with the car, LA, etc. nothing wrong with having the card, it’s flaunting it along with the pictures of the blunts, posts about cant stop farting, etc … not a picture of a mature adult. Not sure why I could see things that you don’t. I think you may have the wrong Au Pair. The former au pair is married and lives in Florida. The current one is just 22.

The FCPD story notes the hour of their arrival was just after 8am. That's early for a handyman or worker, but not that early.

An apparent friend of JR says on another site that he’s the kind of guy that always shoveled the snow for the elderly neighbors, but also was known for getting into relationships online and sometimes it was complicated, married couples, etc. But this friend did not seem to believe that he would’ve been the type to go and stab a person.

Thanks for pointing out the Reddit thread, I didn't even know it existed. There's some interesting stuff on it and one person claiming to be friends with the deceased (Joe) says it was undoubtedly some type of affair/rendezvous situation.
