Come on. A woman is killed in a bedroom in her house along with a man who is not her husband, family member or resident of the house and he did not break in. Her DH admits to killing at least one of them. It is the most likely scenario. Time will tell. |
Probably just one. |
PP who knew him from a hobby, any ideas re: his type of job? |
Except the man appears mentally ill and “incel-ish” according to some people on this thread. Higher likelihood the guy was a stalker than an affair partner. |
Agreed, the wife was a pediatric nurse at INOVA and was previously a nurse in New York helping abused kids. The stabber has a FB page full of anti-govt, pro drugs (including a pic of his medical mj card), an unlikely pair. |
Where did you see that she was killed in a bedroom? None of the reports I see say that. |
I disagree. 7:30 AM on a Friday is an odd time for an affair to be going on, especially with a child in the home and an AuPair. This is a tragic story and my heart goes out to her poor child. |
DP but one report said "upstairs". |
This is from the FCPD website: Officers arrived and found Christine Banfield, 37, of Herndon in an upstairs bedroom suffering from stab wounds to the upper body. Joseph Ryan, 39, of Springfield was found nearby suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body https://fcpdnews.wordpress.com/2023/02/25/investigationunderwayafterwomanstabbedmanshotinherndonhome/ |
Is that the FB that has his relatives that are listed on Spokeo, Peakyou, etc? Lists last known address as Los Angeles although Spokeo only has addresses in VA and TX? |
Ok thanks. |
It lists his last known address as Springfield. |
WHOA. I missed this part. |
My (completely unfounded) theory:
JR was hired to paint rooms in the home He stopped by to receive payment, and was angry that he had not been paid. Home owners were not happy with some part of the work. JR was screaming and threatening Banfield. Au Pair calls 911, but Banfield says its okay, I'll go get the money. Au Pair hangs up. Banfield goes upstairs, calls her husband. He races back to the house. JR becomes impatient at the delay and goes upstairs to find out what is taking so long. Finds Banfield on the phone, starts stabbing her. Husband comes home, shoots JR. Au Pair calls 911 second time. |
I agree that it was something like this. I read that three cars were towed from the home that morning by police. Is that normal for this circumstance? |
