There has been a sudden price INCREASE!! Does this mean they are nearly sold out at Amalyn Bethesda? Does this mean that the Amalyn homes are nearly sold out?

Is now the time to buy just before all of tne Amalyn homes sell out? Why would Amalyn increase the prices unless there was currently a rapid demand???

Is anyone here going to immediately put money down to lock this in??

Any feedback would be helpful.

I can't speak to amalyn specifically, but there has been a wave of buying in January. Some people think it was a slight dip in interest rates, or maybe it's just the normal "spring" activity, but it's been a crazy reversal from the slowness of late last year. Wouldn't surprise me if toll saw a wave of buyers and felt like there was room to increase prices. Who knows if this will last.

Wow. My guess is they are suddenly selling a lot of them.

Well, then, I guess I need to run right out and buy one or I will miss the boat!

Tri Pointe evidently doesn't have agents posting on this board.

Absolutely. I was at Montgomery mall today and drove by just to see them and there was A LOT of activity. Many people were looking at the homes and walking to into the models etc..

Given the recent price increases, does everyone think the prices are just going to keep going up at this rate??? Obviously, the demand keeps increasing exponentially. I’m gonna have to go take another look at them. This appears to be the time if one is seriously interested in moving there.

yes, the opportunity to live in a business park 20 minutes walk from a Home Depot doesn't come up every day!

Nice try, realtors.

if you don't like a house, or development, why would you assume anyone who doesn't share your opinion must be a realtor? That's just looney.

I am legit, terrified they are going to sell out before I have an opportunity to get in. I was hoping to wait until the summer. Given the recent frenzy in people being interested, I am legitimately very worried.

Yes, it just keeps me up all night also. Because if it sells out, I have heard that no one who buys there will ever move and sell. They'll all love it so much that they stay there forever, paying $400/month in HOA fees and their hefty mortgages to live between highways.

Is the HOA really $400/ month? I hope that at least covers access to the pool and gym.

Is walking distance to Montgomery, Mall, downtown, Bethesda, close access to the highways, it is a great location because of the highways, but at least a mile away from the highway itself, I think

I pay $360 a month for my yard service in Bethesda, so if another $40 included snow shoveling, pool and gym...that sounds like a bargain! All the complainers here must live in crap homes not inside the beltway is my thought. (and no, I am not a realtor or looking for a house there, already have a nice close in new build).

I know this is subjective based on what you add on -- but can anyone share real costs the SFHs have been going under contract for?
