Toll Brothers isn’t the only option. Tri Pointe is also building in the neighborhood.

Their web page opens with a shot of "Bethesda Lane."

Lots of real estate listings pull crap like this. I hope no buyers are foolish enough to think that downtown Bethesda is close to this. It would have been more accurate to take a photo of Montgomery Mall.

That may be Bethesda but not walking distance to anything so kinds like Potomac.

If waking distance to metro or stores be worth it. It is not

Easy walk to Montgomery Mall which will eventually be developed into a pedestrian friendly commercial area.

Move here and be hated by the neighbors who tried to prevent the lot from being developed and who will now be affected by endless traffic on fernwood.

I know people hate development in their backyards, but 300 homes won't appreciably impact traffic. Think about every time you pass by an apartment building with 300 units; do you see an endless stream of cars coming and going at all hours? No, of course not.

It's true that this is not far from Potomac. But for closer in Potomac, you're not going to find two acres. You have to go out pretty far in Potomac (probably close to Gaithersburg or Poolesville), and in that case, the commute would be terrible. Your point that these houses are overpriced in valid, but not sure a comparison to far-out Potomac really works.

This is right. Close in Potomac prices have really shot up recently too.

Anyone know/hear/guess what the monthly HOA will be? Looks like you get your own pool/clubhouse and all lawn care.

It was built in 1987 and needs at least $200,000 in updates. The kitchen and bathrooms are really dated.

The website has "Inspired Living In the New Heart of Bethesda"

This is the old radio tower site, right? No way that will ever become the new heart of Bethesda. It's almost Potomac, and besides, it's not near anything at all! No one's going to walk 5 miles to the Bethesda Row restaurants pictured on their website.
