The White Lotus season 2

The different ethnicities is the stickler though.

Ethan is the victim, the new money: Harper wants the money, but doesn’t want to spend her life with Ethan.

When Cameron feels up Harper’s leg, I was surprised she never told Ethan. She’s a lawyer who deals with sexual harassment claims…her job is to fight against sh#tty behavior by men. Yet she omits this truth from Ethan….why? Especially after her getting upset toward Ethan about the night with the hookers. Why didn’t she come clean about Cameron’s behavior?

I think Cameron and Harper are perhaps having a longtime affair and in cahoots. Perhaps Harper actually represented Cameron’s firm in his harassment cases?

Lol no.

She doesn’t need to “come clean” about Cameron’s crap behavior— she didn’t do anything wrong. Also, after Cameron strips in front of her, she DOES tell Ethan and he has basically no reaction. So maybe she figures that between being mad at Ethan and the fact that he didn’t seem to care before, she figures what is the point of telling him more?

Also, no way Harper and Cameron have a longtime affair. These people barely know each other and we witness several scenes between the two of them alone where Harper clearly does not like him and they have no established history.

Sometimes I wonder if the people posting on this thread are really young or just read recaps of the show or something. This “analysis” is just you guys making up random plots based on nothing.

You’re stuck with us - deal with it!

Then might I gently suggest actually watching the show we’re talking about and basing your comments on what we actually see happening in the show? Perhaps another thread for WL fanfic.

Dude did you see the end of Season 1. The ending was so random. By your logic, if PP had spun that one out you would have called her out for writing fan fiction. But there you go. Anything is possible and on the table for the end of Season 2.

Good point; the ending of Season 1 was insane. My theory about Harper & Cameron isn’t so far fetched. It would make sense that if Harper was the Other Woman, she would be obsessed with calling out Daphne/Cameron’s relationship as “fake.”

DP but nope. The characters involved in the killing at the end of S1 had a longrunning, obvious animosity. Maybe "poops in his luggage" wasn't on your bingo card, but it's nowhere near as farfetched as Harper and Cameron, who do not like or respect each other and only know each other now because Ethan and Cameron were friends in college, being long time secret lovers.

The preview for the show features the actor who plays Albie saying the people who are at the resort are murderers. So, I think it's pretty safe to say that the preview plus the dead body equals murder.

No, I assume Albie saying that is like when protesters scream that all the rich people at an awards gala are murderers because they aren’t doing more about climate change. I don’t think he’s actually saying that the people at the hotel got together and physically murdered someone.

Yeah, it's pretty clear trolling. But whatever.

But it may be that "he" for lack of a batter term is taping his eyes back to be Ethan and untaping them or scrunching them together as Albie. In the same way some women use tape as part of their presentation. Similar body types and skin tones make the ruse easier to carry out. But why? That's what I don't get.

The actor who plays Albie didn’t say people at the hotel are murderers. He said the show is about relationships, [something else I can’t recall], and murder. Presumably he wouldn’t have said the show was about murder if there wasn’t a murder.

What edibles are you taking??? I’d rather go back to the travel like a local vs. staying in the hotel discussion than this.

The whole "Albie is a younger version of another character" has to be the absolute stupidest theory circling this show. It makes no sense whatsoever.

Is it really a theory or just one rando spouting nonsense in this thread?

Did you notice how angry Harper was after Daphne came back to the beach after the massage and was canoodling with Cameron on the lounge chair? It’s hard to tell where her disdain for their fakeness ends and her rage at not being desired like that begins.

I think Harper and Valentina would make a good match.

She is very sexually frustrated. She needs a good bone and her husband won’t give it to her. Daphne infuriates her because at least she’s sexually fulfilled and her husband can’t keep his hands off of her and is very complimentary and does what she wants.

But the theory is that Albie and Ethan are the same person. The younger version of another character thing is not believable. Some say when it is revealed Harper will be like "I am so out of here," and Dom Digrasso feels betrayed and like he lost a son but grandfather Bert is more understanding and worldly wise, knowing all of these things (identities) are relative no pun intended.

Have you ever noticed that Cam always initiates with Daphne - she never seems to initiate with him - while Harper always initiates with Ethan (though he doesn't respond the way she wants).

Mia gets the permanent singing gig and the male piano player kills her in a rage. Mia is registered as a guest still and that's why she's referred to as a guest.
