She is making things that non chefs can make so that is nice. Her style is beautiful. My only complaint is that she looks very thin and I am sure it is from stress so people be nice she is trying and actually working so remember she is not a princess who sits around.

Gosh calling someone out on being skinny isn’t really kind either. Good golly!

my comment came from a good place. She has lost a lot of weight since she met Harry. I am guessing it is because of stress so feels inauthentic not to mention this. Not saying anything about how she does her hair or make up. Just a concern for what looks like too much stress put on someone. I wish her well.

I suspect it's more likely Ozempic vanity weight loss.

Can you really be too thin in Hollywood?

In a Vanity Fair spread last week, Gwyneth said the following:

“I don’t know Meghan and Harry,” Paltrow says. I’m surprised, given how close they live. “I mean, I’ve met Meghan, who seems really lovely, but I don’t know her at all,” she clarifies. “Maybe I’ll try to get through their security detail and bring them a pie.” She hasn’t seen the trailer for Markle’s Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, either. Based on its fresh-veggie-filled emphasis on the good life, the show seems quite Goop-adjacent, but Paltrow is unthreatened. If anything, she’s inclined to defend the duchess: When “there’s noise about certain women in the culture, I do have, always, a strong instinct to stand up for them.”

That last line, especially, tells me that no, she isn’t taking potshots at MM.

I think it was the right amount of shade, with a nice general statement at the end. Goopy did live in England for years and she can do that subtle British passive aggressive fake gracious yet cutting thing really well.

It wasn't shade at all, what's wrong with you?

The part about pie and security is shade, obviously. But of course she’s not going to slam Meghan openly. It’d be stupid, petty and pointless.

Meghan and her weave have finally found the freedom to come full circle, like circling a drain, with this influencer stuff. Her instincts are so bad, Tina Brown called it right when saying Markle always gets it wrong. Affiliate links as an act of service, people! Thank goodness she’s worked out her trademark and supply chain issues by merching past-season clothes that can “sell out” since they’re not for sale. The Meghan effect! It’s the Midas touch. Or the mierda touch.

She’s trying to whore out her kids despite the privacy and security claims. You know, all the racists chasing down these visibly…uh…mixed kids. Yes. Their marriage seems super…healthy. She is an inspiration!

Affiliate links are an act of service…. That’s hilarious. Also they are clearly broke as this is so beneath who she thinks she is, Sussex and all. By broke I’m sure they have 10s of millions in the bank, but they are spending at least 10m a year on their security, mortgage, lifestyle, jets etc.

And why would Meghan Sussex include a “Meghan, Duchess of Sussex” in big bold font at the top of her affiliate page? She knows the title is the only reason anyone pays attention.

In order to be Duchess of Sussex, don't you need to live in Sussex and lord over the people there???

No you don't but if you don't endorse colonialism, birth right superiority privilege, slavery, racism etc, you should feel ashamed to use such titles. More so if you are part black and full American.

Exactly. She absolutely does condone that stuff and has said it fully. In the Oprah interview she says that the Prince and Princess titles are her children’s birthright.

This hypocrisy is why people dislike her. Also her good fortune and lifestyle attracts envy.

It's funny reading a comment like this, assuming Paltrow is "shading" Meghan with this totally innocuous statement. But then if Meghan complains about criticism, it's "all in her head."

FWIW, that doesn't sound like shade at all to me. I'm sure Meghan and Harry have a ton of security and the pie thing is just what people say about neighbors -- oh, I'll bring them a pie. I don't get what about that could be viewed as criticism.

Meghan is always going to be too much or not enough for middle aged women. It's because they envy her. Her husband gave up everything for her, he protects her and their kids, he is a family man, and he supports her independent projects. She is beautiful, educated, well spoken, has her own career and money and ALL of that was before she met Harry. Together they've most made each other better.

If you look at the women who loudly and proudly talk shit about Meghan... you can see why they are mad. Jealousy makes you ugly on the inside and outside... and the outside of these women is NOT pretty.

It would be shade if she didn't actually make pies for people but she does.

Giving up everything (your friends and family) is a red flag. This Hollywood drama isn't what makes a healthy happy marriage.

That said, I am sure plenty of people are jealous of her, and I agree she is stunning.

I think it is beneath her as a Duchess to be a brand affiliate (or it should be) but I am happy to see what she likes/wears. I love her style. And plenty of people do this kind of work (even respectable celebs like Jennifer Aniston who don't need the money). If Meghan would just remove the "Duchess" moniker from her branding, I think most people would be fine with it.

You must be sore after pushing those goal posts!

If people say something mean about Meghan, it's because she's terrible. But if people say something nice about Meghan...it's because they really wanted to say something mean but couldn't.

If Meghan is so terrible and everyone hates her, why bother playing nice?

If Meghan doesn't take this opportunity to befriend Gwyneth, she's a fool.

Ew. As a middle aged woman, I prefer Merida as my princess heroine, she can protect herself.
