I'm convinced some alliance of elites in this country are working with the political establishment to allow as many people in as possible. There is no other explanation for why we are letting this happen, despite the objections of the vast majority of the public. Democrats and Republicans generally agree this is wrong.

Do you know what he didn't say? Anything about enforcing our border laws and protecting our borders.

More ramifications of Biden's plan to flood our border.

A Mexican railway operator announced Tuesday it is temporarily suspending train runs in the northern part of the country because so many migrants are climbing aboard freight cars and getting hurt in the process.

Ferromex said it has temporarily ordered a halt to 60 trains carrying cargo that would fill 1,800 tractor trailers. It said some international trade would be affected by the stoppage.

In recent days, there have been about a "half-dozen regrettable cases of injuries or deaths" among migrants hopping freight cars, the company said in a statement.

The company, owned by conglomerate Grupo Mexico, said some migrants even hopped on moving freight cars "despite the grave danger that represents."

From a White House podium in May, U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas outlined new legal pathways to the United States for Venezuelans and others, along with a “very clear” message for those come illegally.

“Our borders are not open. People who cross our border unlawfully and without a legal basis to remain will be promptly processed and removed,” he said.

On Wednesday, Mayorkas announced temporary legal status for an estimated 472,000 Venezuelans who had arrived in the country as of July 31 — including some who ignored his stern warnings and came illegally. Circumstances change, but the Biden administration’s sharp expansion of Temporary Protected Status may complicate its messaging.

But administration critics say the vast sweep of Mayorkas’s announcement will encourage other Venezuelans to try to enter the U.S., figuring that warnings of swift deportations ring hollow and another expansion will follow.

Jeremy MacGillivray, deputy representative of the United Nations’ International Organization for Migration in Mexico, declined to predict the impact of the TPS expansion but said, based on past experience, that “it is likely that measures of this kind, even when positive, encourage people to set out.”

Smugglers sell their services by saying, “Look, President Biden announced the expansion of this measure for Venezuelans, now is the time to come to the border,” MacGillivray said.

Sorry. The Democrats do not have a leg to stand on with this issue.
The people coming are not "brown." Do you realize the people entering are coming from countries ALL OVER THE WORLD? Including China, Afghanistan, and other countries that are far from allies of ours?
And, as for that fentanyl..... much of what is recovered comes in at ports of entry. What about the fentanyl that is NOT recovered? Coming in via mules across our unpatrolled border because our border agents are so busy processing the migrants the cartels are sending en masse.

Last month's encounters was over 230,000 and that does not include the migrants brought in using the CBP app.
This month's number will be far higher given the record-setting encounters daily.
