JD SHOULD lose. He is suing for defamation. She has video of him acting abusively. I feel like her behavior is relevant in the court of public opinion but now THIS court, where he needs to prove she could not see herself as a victim, something that is virtually impossible to me.

I wonder why he married her in the first place considering he didn’t marry his long time partner whom he had kids with. I also wonder if it Heard was like a Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde and was nice while dating but then became abusive after they got married because no one normal would go through with a marriage if they experienced this kind of behavior from their partner.

It’s classic NPD behavior, it’s called live bombing. She’s textbook.

He also has a lot of baggage so is a perfect victim for her. Healthy people don’t stay in relationships with abusers

Oh but he played a funny pirate in a movie series though. And he's funny and sort of handsome. And she is not an angel, so your sympathies are with him. You guys are the worst.

I'm not watching the detailed testimony because it's uncomfortable to watch. However, I will read about it and do want to know why he thinks she cost him so much money? He's not some acting goldmine genius who also produces and directs.

She wrote the article in 2018, not naming him, and he is suing for $50 million.The first trial was in 2019, he sued right away, lost and sued again here in Fairfax. This time he wanted it televised, she did not. In contrast, Louis CK got called out by his actual name for his bad behavior, waited it out and now he's winning a grammy. I don’t know but think they should’ve just stayed out of the public eye. He may have lost Pirates but could’ve focused on indie flicks and built up his reputation through his charm and quality movies. Now they’re both just trashy and I wouldn’t hire either of them.

+1. Having his drug use and violence when he’s under the influence entered into the public record is only going to make it even harder to insure him. It would take some serious dig to get him out of the even deeper hole he’s put himself into with this trial.

And frankly, his decision to air his own dirty laundry like this, not just by filing the defamation action and letting it go to trial, but further insisting on having cameras present in the courtroom, raises serious questions about his judgment.

I think you're correct. I read that one of JD's once said AH made him a better dad. But that was in the early days. Later, the situation appeared to get worse.
