He was not trying to control her.

The drugs and alcohol are relevant. If she can show he passes out and that he admits and others have seen him using drugs, the jury could infer that means his recollection of events is not as credible as hers.

Vasquez did a great job of pointing out the same to be true for "Miss Heard's" recollections since Amber admitted to doing drugs prior to (or during) moments she was recalling JD's past behavior.

If JD's memory of events is not credible due to drug use then it's the same for AH's memory of events. You can't have it both ways.

Of course, but he is the one he needs to prove his case. Yes, she has a counter claim, but his is the big one.

I'm not convinced he cares about winning the case as much as he cares about winning in the court of public opinion.

He’s done that. I think he cares about winning, too.

+1. He’s hoping to have a career again someday

Look at the way he talked about her. Look at the way he tried to control her. Did you hear how he behaved about her doing sex scenes? Seeing a sex scene of her in a movie where it was actually a body double and going completely nuts? wtf?

But somehow you look at that as all right and she is the villain?

She could have gotten $32 million in the divorce settlement and she took just $7 and pledged it to charity, and you guys are still mad because she has only herself paid about $1M of that so far? Even though it's a greater tax write off if she pays it over time, and now she herself is getting sued for $50 mil?

Oh but he played a funny pirate in a movie series though. And he's funny and sort of handsome. And she is not an angel, so your sympathies are with him. You guys are the worst.

Women like you are the worst. I think it's been pretty unanimous here that based on the evidence (facts) both were abusers to each other. People like you, that side with the female because she's a female, do nothing for the female right's movement and protecting victims of domestic violence. She doesn't get a free pass because she's a woman.

wow. Her slapping him a few times is not the same thing as him raping her with a bottle, or doing a crevice search for his cocaine because he was jonesing for a hit, or destroying property around her in a wake of violence.

Moreover, her op ed doesn't claim anywhere that she never slapped him. She doesn't need to prove that she never slapped him. He sued her for defamation, which means he needs to prove that she lied about being abused. So he needs to prove he didn't abuse her, and I don't think he's doing that. He seems to have been very abusive, JMHO.

You’re switching gears to discuss the merits of JD’s lawsuit.

AH did not just slap him a few times. There is an incredible amount of tangible evidence that she did more than that. She has also been proven to lie under oath, so her credibility is in question. The relationship was mutually abusive, in fact, other than hearsay, AH has not proven the incidents she stated happened. We do know she has lied, so again, her credibility is in question.

JD sucks. AH sucks. AH is not doing women, or domestic abuse victims any favors. Based on the evidence, anyone who claims otherwise is misguided.

Have you ever actually googled 'mutual abuse?' Or are you just parroting this term based on twitter feeds? I encourage you to do so - you'll find that mutual abuse is a myth.

Princess Weekes, who I follow for her literary videos, did an amazing video breaking down why the trial reaction is so disturbing. It's very long but it's very worth watching:

Of course I'm talking about the merits of JD's lawsuit. That's what this trial is about! He sued her for defamation for $50 million! That's why we're all here.

This Princess Weekes link looks interesting. I'm going to give it a listen.

DP. Dr Laurel Anderson, their marriage counselor, testified that they engaged in "mutual abuse" and that AH initiated violent interactions in an effort to prevent Johnny from leaving.

Anyone who names themselves princess weekes is unrealizable you begin with. Everyone is seeking publicity from this trial.

Anonymous wrote:Did you guys see the testimony regarding the photo of a glass table with lines of coke on it? I thought CV's cross examination of AH was really good. IME, that table looks too clean to have been used for what AH says it was - and, as CV noted, there were the cigarette in the ashtray was unsmoked and there were no ashes in it. But, what really got me was that she said the tampon applicator was used to snort the coke! Now, I'm post-menopausal but aren't those applicators larger than a McDonald's straw? Would a tampon applicator even fit in your nostril? I don't think it would fit in mine and you'd need a power snort to use it. What are your thoughts?

As someone who has never done drugs, I would assume that coke leaves a residue on the table. Am I right?

DP who admittedly has not watched the trial. Do you guys not know how to clean tables? I don't know what you're talking about generally, but coke is a powder, I imagine some windex would clean it right up

I asked the drug question. The picture and coke I am talking about shows 4 lines of coke on a table along with a box, tampon application (the smaller tube), and mugs. AH said or implied that JD had already done a line or two of coke but in the picture you just see 4 lines and no residue from any snorted lines. To me it looks like a staged photo with no 5th line residue. So I was asking if there had been other coke lines, that were already snorted, wouldn't there be left over residue from the snorted line?

I'm the first PP. Yes, if you're snorting lines of coke or imbibing, there's no way the table would be as clean as it was. It looks to have been staged. The floor is dirtier than the table.

It looks like there is a line of powder reside between the top line and the drivers license.

Maybe but there aren't even any finger prints or smudges on the table. It looks totally staged.

The jury room after the trial will be a mess. I wish I could be an observer for part of it. JD loses if even ONE juror believes AH. I think the fur will fly in arguments between the sides and unfortunately JD will lose this case. My prediction.

To me AH seems like a crazy money hungry angry abuser. But she picked the right target. Notice how Musk slipped away. He was ready for some free sex but not this craziness.
