I’m not defending this war, but it seems odd to say that Iran holds all the cards. Aren’t their oil exports essentially stopped from the US naval blockade? That has to be devastating to their economy.

Correct. Not to mention, Iran is even more of a worldwide pariah than they were before since they are now blocking the access of so many other countries to Gulf oil.

The world supports Iran. USA traditional allies are refusing to help USA/Israel.
China and Russia are trying to work with Iran while avoiding the US. China's leader publicly condemned the US. The pope condemned the US.

China and Russia are also pariah states, so it's no surprise they're working with Iran - they always have. "The world supports Iran" is something only a propaganda-spewing minion of the IRGC would say.

The UAE allows the IDF to send an Iron Dome unit to its country but the IDF doesn't send them to Saudi Arabia or other GCC countries. Then a UAE official complains that the other GCC countries are weak and aren't fighting hard enough.

I wonder how this makes the other GCC/Arab League members feel.
Also, how do the Arabs feel about IDF soldiers on UAE soil?

Iran doesn’t want to be bombed every few months by Israel and the US. It’s very logical of them to seize the Strait of Hormuz to make these attacks as painful as possible for the rest of the world - so they exert some pressure on the US and Israel. And it’s very logical of Iran to go full nuclear weapons to dissuade Israel and the US from more attacks.

Iron Dome works on small rockets with easily calculated trajectories. It does not work on large missiles, ballistic missiles and drones.
