I’m not defending this war, but it seems odd to say that Iran holds all the cards.  Aren’t their oil exports essentially stopped from the US naval blockade?  That has to be devastating to their economy.[/quote]

Correct.  Not to mention, Iran is even more of a worldwide pariah than they were before since they are now blocking the access of so many other countries to Gulf oil.

China and Russia are also pariah states, so it's no surprise they're working with Iran - they always have.  "The world supports Iran" is something only a propaganda-spewing minion of the IRGC would say.  [/quote]
