This is terrible for Trump - it's tangible proof of losing this war. By hoping just to return to how things were is a surrender.
In fact, if Iran wanted to, they could actually say no - they have all the leverage. Even if they agreed to all US points, if they continue to (and not sure why they wouldn't) request pay through strait by all ships, they win in spectacular fashion. I get that they have experienced wide spread destruction but the fees they will earn will make up for that and then some since it's long-term. |

The US has spent closer to $100 billion on this war.
It has suffered unreported losses to bases on the ground. It has suffered its global military and political leadership. A reversion to the JCPOA, but instead of the $1.4 billion that Obama released and the right went apoplectic over, it will be closer to $20 billion. And...Iran won't give up control of the Strait of Hormuz, and knows it can shut it down anytime it wants, and harm the global economy. That is pretty much worse than having a nuclear weapon. Art of the Deal, right? |
| Americans paying $100 more for gas, $100 more for bombs, $100 more for tariffs; are we winning yet? |
CUBA is next. Easy win. |
Is it going to be more like 1898 or 1961? |
You forgot to mention that the people of Iran were in the streets, staring down guns, protesting and now...not protesting. There won't be regime change. Trump has pushed the people back in to the arms of the government and made himself and us the enemy again. All that TONS of money, lost lives, and WE look like idiots. He should have left Obama's deal in place years ago. We lose now, because Trump and Hegseth are frickin morons. |

Narrator: The Strait of Hormouz is not being reverted to the pre-war stance.
Iran now controls when it is "open" or closed and what, if any, tolling will take place. |
I don't care. I just want this war to end. |
The sooner the better, yes, but there is no scenario where Iran isn't in better shape than it was before this started. |
I don’t consider trying to eradicate the world of a poisonous, murderous regime to be terrorism. I suppose when you’re the terrorist - or a sympathizer - you would feel differently. |

It’s sad that we have to look overseas for any type of leadership or direction, but I suppose we should be grateful that there’s anyone at all to tell these clowns the truth. Nice to see the smug. Bessent put in his place.

Israel is the the terrorist. So you want to destroy Israel? |
Oh, you’re definitely a terrorist sympathizer. Do you feel any shame at all? |
That's something we can and should talk about after it ends. |
