Demings, VP
Harris, AG
Chennault, Treasury
Rice, State
...., SecDef.....

And so on?
Biden needs to maximize the number of blacks in the cabinet.

Ken Chennault - former Amex ceo

I mean that's a substantial chunk of the cabinet right there. Who is Chennault? Michelle Howard is qualified for SecDefense.
Plenty of qualified Black candidates. What about Latinx and Asian prospects?

Guess her stellar working reputation nixed her so she’s saying stuff like that.

Yeah I don’t think she would have been picked because of the staff mistreatment issue—antithetical to Joe’s brand. But her pro-police history in MN would have sealed it.

+1
It feels like she’s trying to sabotage Warren.

She has always seemed to have a strong undertow of natural darkness that just pulls at her during any interaction. No bueno

Along with Whitmer, Baldwin, and Raimondo.

Yes, but Warren’s obviously the front runner.

Secondly , she had disappeared from the short list a long time ago. Even without the police murder in Minneapolis , she had less chances than virtually all the women being considered .Amy klobuchar is vile , and if Biden doesn't give her a cushy cabinet position should he win the presidency , she can kiss her Senate career goodbye .

You’re delusional. She’s ridiculously popular in Minnesota and can hold that seat until she dies.

Sure.

I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or you actually mean it .

I think people are mistaking name recognition for front-runner status. The reality is we just don't know. Rarely has the VP pick been an obvious choice.

Amy klobuchar is just not a nice person and her latest grandstanding just proves it . I mean, she basically gave us a ' I quit, I didn't get fired' gaslighting act . To top it off, she gives herself the importance that she doesn't have and never will. Biden owes his nomination to minorities , especially AAs who resurrected his campaign that was on life support after THREE primary contests.

Biden would've had to be a fool ( I do not put it past him) to hand over the vice presidency to a woman who got something like 0.5% of the AA vote in the primaries. For context, Buttigieg performed amongst AAs than klobuchar . She's essentially radioactive despite the agitation of some middle aged dcumers .

What a nice lady.

Was she insinuating the only way a person of color would be considered is if the white woman didnt run? That's how it comes off.

She definitely is but I can't imagine they'll want to have Benghazi as a distraction and she's untested politically. She's ideal for State.

The thing about Benghazi is she can blame HRC (as she has) and it somehow rings true that Clinton put her up to take the fall.

There is not a Democrat alive who wants to make 2020 about relitigating Clinton in any manner.

+1 It's a shame, I really do think the Benghazi association disqualifies her. But the vetting will be helpful when she's put up for State.

Only one is grit and substance from a swing state. VP Dennings it is.

I much prefer Demings to Harris, hope she's the pick.
