She definitely is but I can't imagine they'll want to have Benghazi as a distraction and she's untested politically. She's ideal for State.

The thing about Benghazi is she can blame HRC (as she has) and it somehow rings true that Clinton put her up to take the fall.

Regardless she'll presented as a lying politician and Trumpsters will go nuts with that. If it weren't for that concern, she'd be my number 1.

Also isn't Rice more the pick of the intelligentsia? My guess is that Demings would have broader appeal, especially in the south and midwest.

I don't think Benghazi would matter much. It's become a symbol of Republican over-reach and crass political games to all but the diehard base that will vote for Trump anyway.

Rice was National Security Advisor and the US Ambassador to the United Nations.... her experience with foreign affairs is a huge plus in my book given the Trump administration has pissed off most of our allies.

Amy Klobuchar. Plainly.

Oh I agree with you, but that wasn’t my point.

Guess her stellar working reputation nixed her so she’s saying stuff like that.

Amy klobuchar asking Biden to pick a woman of color is so on-brand for her — since she was never going to get it , why must another white woman ( Warren, whitmer etc ) get it ?

Secondly , she had disappeared from the short list a long time ago. Even without the police murder in Minneapolis , she had less chances than virtually all the women being considered .Amy klobuchar is vile , and if Biden doesn't give her a cushy cabinet position should he win the presidency , she can kiss her Senate career goodbye .

I agree it was a pretty cynical and bitchy ploy by Klobs, but glad she’s out.

Well at least the pro-Klobs poster will stop now.

You’re delusional. She’s ridiculously popular in Minnesota and can hold that seat until she dies.

Cynthia Hogan worked closely with Biden as his legal advisor and is likely a swing vote.

Betting on Demings or Whitmer, IMHO
Glad Kamala has come around to idea of AG. It will be an eclectic mix of leadership coming in with fresh views. We need this.
I hope Mayor Pete has opportunity to support in some capacity, but trust the judgment of key decision maker(s).
