Usually they are done by pulling people off the street. |
This house is not set away from the road. Again, it's like all the others. Are you the one who thinks this is an amazing mansion on a vast estate? |
Doesn't appear sturdy enough to be Mexican. Though the backpack tracks. |
So why would he take her with him? It's not like she was going to chase after him on foot being disabled. |
Very possible. I think the best hope at this point is identifying the person by this video. If they are able to do that, we'll know the rest soon enough. |
Nobody is saying this is a mansion. They're just saying it's an easy target because of the resident profile and because it is in a place that is not a busy road and is where they can make a getaway without being noticed. That's it. |
The remarkable thing is the daughter has a net worth of 40 million. |
Kidnap/ransom |
+1 An elderly woman walking with a cane is an easy target. |
And? They didn't leave a ransom note? Waited 2 days? Doesn't really seem like they wanted the money. |
So leave a note like real kidnappers. Be serious about collecting. Communicate with the family. None of that was done. |

What is crazy about the nest video is watching the assailant struggle with the camera for a few minutes. It’s like he didn’t anticipate finding it there and didn’t know how to cover it. He turns around and looked for something like shrubbery. Super strange.
Wonder if the person was hired or acted independently. Praying for them - the whole thing is horrifying. |
Retired FBI expert on CNN said this was nonsense. He claimed that it is routine for hackers to run any demand letters through AI to correct them and make sure they didn't use any words or spellings that point to a particular region. IOW, the person could just have used Grammarly or something similar. |
Yeah, that's what's puzzling. |
That's what makes it seem unlikely it was someone who had been to that house before. |
