me too. Not Tucson but my mom grew up in a nearby border town. Nowadays the kidnapping victims have ties to cartels but there are still cases where it randomly happens.  It's never some complex plan either. Just some lower rank members who think they can pull a fast one. [/quote]

I think it's done however they see an easy opportunity. So if they knew she was home alone and it was an easy house to break into and escape from based on where it sits, there you go.[/quote]
