Looking for a great white hope?

They want to play dirty, you play dirty against them...

Fairfax County Superintendent Michelle Reid will remain in her post for another four years. The Fairfax County School Board voted unanimously on Thursday to extend Reid’s contract through June 2028. The new contract details an annual salary of $424,146, plus an annual $12,000 car allowance. Reid’s original salary was $380,000 and was raised annually according to district-wide cost of living adjustments.

So said another way, Reid’s salary will be equal to or less than the taxpayer money FCPS has spent investigating and supporting Hayfield in its run for State.

Ppl talked about FCPS and $$$ used to get to this point, hell may as well go all in across the board

Teams were told 3 hours before game time that they are not playing. “Sorry every other team, but Hayfield just got here so we have to wait for them.”

Just the teams in 6C? Or all of 6?

No it’s "sorry every other team, but some white supremacists running the VHSL” wanted to violate the rights of the kids at Hayfield and the issue had to be sorted out in a courtroom.

Are they going to spend the money? Did they even bring an attorney today?

I am sure if VHSL started a GoFund me they could quickly get enough to cover litigation costs

Their parents need to start screaming at their rep. Reid needs to be fired over this

The Robinson seniors should all come in and repeat the FCPS line about seniors needing to play - or does that only apply to Hayfield?
does this eliminate Robinson from the postseason?

Source? And what have the other teams been told about when they can expect to play? I hope VHSL appeals and gets the injunction overruled or withheld or whatever needs to happen to let the other programs that followed the rules play ball.

So the trial is set for 12/4. If Hayfield wins its region on 11/30, but then loses the case on 12/4 and is kicked out of the post season... does nobody from Region C advance and Region D gets a bye to the State Final?

I think someone posted earlier they could have just given hayfield a bye but that wouldn’t have worked because the two lowest play then that winner players the number 1 seed. This thing all shook up

Would the vote the same day. That’s so many moving parts, or would they enforce the ban for 25-26 since it would be way too late to enforce this year. He’ll win or lose they competed I. This years post season so does the extra year get put on the backend

That would be the right call to have a 2 year post season ban apply. There is no “time served” if they play this post season.
